Edited by: Calathea Sata on 21/02/2011 18:33:17 It's truly an exciting view to all! Currently in the VR resort Dreams Incarnate where the contest was held in the past week, the contestants are debating on how they should split the prize money, or at all, and so far there is little agreement between the four of the finalists. They are namely Killer Gandry, Istvaan Shogaatsu, Jetena, and Mister Fort, who is also known as Jonas. The one other finalist, Miss Mercy Regard, on the other hand has expressed to us her unwillingness of taking any of the prize money. Incredible.
Will the Four ever give up on their stance of each of them should receive 100% of the prize money? How long are they planning to fuel the heated debate? What is the thought of Majesty Miss Neferis to the current seemingly stranded situation? Let's hope we'll find out real soon!

Well now, that's a sad ending. I might not always have been your biggest supporter Ms Neferis, but this contest was rather amusing. And you're now giving up your career because Ms Constantine does not approve of it? I'm not really familiar with Sani Sabik other than the basic principles, but doesn't this kind of go against all that? Ah well, your choice to make, and I suppose some will rejoice in the quiet returning to the IGS, but all the back and forth arguing doesn't make for quite as entertaining a read.
Hope you're happy Ms Constantine, 'cause now we get to read your material again. Well, those that actually still bother.

That there is any debate at all is absurd Miss Sata. None of us won a thing... so how could any of the contestants claim that they deserve any of the prize money! I came to compete... to WIN. If there is no contest, there simply is NO prize. It's shameful that any of these people would accept a prize by default. What satisfaction is there in that?
Truly disappointed,

With the contest closed, the Deadpool will now pay out. Under normal circumstances, I would allow a grace period for pressing claims of later deaths; however, these are not normal circumstances, as will become apparent.
At closing, the pool contained 62631579 ISK, 11052631,58 ISK of which was bet on Ms. Velarra. After the house take of 5%, this means the pay-out ratio is 5,38 exactly. The sole better and sole winner of the pool takes home 53800000 ISK, and my personal compliments; you've shown daring and initiative worthy of a capsuleer.

If the event is truly over, then I said my peace at the resort. Something stirs within me though that this isn't indeed over. After watching Gandry and Jetena bickering over simple material, it just furthers my suspicions.

Yes it goes and I'm guilty as charged. I'm also resigning from my position of a Sovereign of a faith I clearly betrayed. The Scepter will pass to more capable hands I'm sure, in time.

Thank you, very much, for your praise. I have to admit, that there was a fair bit of luck involved. While my rather fresh license has prohibited me from being a contestant, I am very happy that I still could profit from this event. It saddens me, that this spectacle has come to a such a sudden end, since I was quite entertained by following it.

Even though the event has ended I am not forfitting to any defeat in any ways.
The simpler minds might see an even split as the fair thing to do, but I didn't enter just to participate.
The pot represents a winner and even though some will disagree I came to win, nothing more and nothing less.
Since the winner takes the prize ofcourse I also go for the prize since both are interwoven.
My drive isn't wavering due to the circumstances. Those who see this as a reason to give up so be it. You only prove that you never possessed which was needed to win it in the first place.

Yet again proving yourself to be an arrogant fool Mr. Gandry. No one has been defeated because no one has won. If there is no more game, there is no more prize. You can try to make yourself look good with your superfluous words, but really, it's just more of the same from you. blah blah blah blah blah... you should stick to music.

I always say what I want to say Mr. Gandry, and I hardly see my position today as 'giving up'. I'm simply not going to take a prize which I didn't truly win by showing you and the other contestants up in the most spectacular fashion. Besides if the rules were to stay as they were posted originally, there would be one male winner and one female winner, and as you said yourself yesterday... *smiles sweetly* well we don't really need to repeat it.

It's not exactly hard to ransom a free captain when you put your mind to it.
Still, it's not good that you're mad. I never did understand why you took on such a sudden and inexplicable hate for me after several years of pleasent friendship.

Ah well...
Isk has been sent to the respective finalists, I trust you're all satisfied with your share.
Things got a bit out of control, to those knowing my love affair with this Gallente along the years it's not really a big surprise. We have this explosive temper when jealousy hits, and apparentely the tango did it this time. We have bombarded planetary surfaces, we have self-destroyed dreadnaghts, we have war decced alliances, corporations, even lead capsuleers to Biomass due to a strange look.
I can't say that I'm really surprised to see my lover storming here like a black hole devoring all that she could find. For the Tango, I'm guilty as charged. And for all, in truth, I wouldn't have my lover any less fiery than this, it's our nature and a mark of our love after all.
My apologies to those caught in the eye of the storm but I dare saying anyone coming to join one of my events can certainly expect a healthy dose of madness within. So, I hope that it has been a nice ride.
Next time, if there will be any, someone please remind me beforehand to not dance tangos and write in red italic...
* mutters something like ******* crazy gallente anarchist heretic, unholy.....*
For all that you are, I'm still madly in love. Not that it would be any doubts on this regard.

Overall, 2.1 billion ISK have been paid out to participants. 1.6b of which to the finalists.

The tango was the binary explosive that triggered the explosion for sure my love. Along the years have been many forms but the same result, craters, devastation, bombardments, firestorms, financial market worms and our share of strange murders no doubt.
To make things plain I donÆt believe for a moment my lover is capable of being false to me but I am enraged by the thought that others could falsely believe her so, even for a moment and (particularly) those presuming to dance the tango in red italics.
Istvaan Shogaatsu may well be the clusterÆs most notorious saboteur and corporate thief but there are secrets and pleasures that that lay beyond his ambitious reach lest both arms be hacked off savagely at the wrist and the feasthall be burned with strategic incendaries and airburn bonerot virus not neccessarily in that order.
I will also offer my apologies to innocents and blameless caught in the shockwave of todayÆs cataclysm. To Darveses in particular I regret the way things finished and greatly respect the time and effort you committed to proceedings, IÆm sure your next event will be a sterling success on all levels.
But to return to my loverÆs words, yes, there is a core of madness when the flames of love are stoked and tempted and sometimes we are burned by the surprising intensity of reactions conjured. Love like magick is an inexact art at best, most of the time we simply hang on for dear life and breathe each moment gifted with no clue or inkling of the destination.
This anarchist is well-reminded that wild emotions and explosive jealousies are not solely the domain of the herectic blood-worshipping sects and simple sensual addiction can provide the detonating power of a dozen minor cults practising forbidden knowledge at the razorÆs edge of sin.
And beautiful, since our purest expression of devotion occurs most often in the obliteration of rules and customs, islands and caves and unwary orbiting spacecraft, you might say the events here simply prove the rule:
Love as you will, Do as you please, Rest when you are dead

Yes, I believe I can avoid dancing Tangos in red italics and still proceed with my duties as a Sovereign. Besides, my lover has a certain fetish for my Sovereign crimson red semi-transparent robe and threated me to vacumm all her Fetish wardrobe if I no longer had our love making desecrating holy altars.
