why am i not surprised that three days after making a 3 man corp with 2 other friends that we get war decced?
the ceo possibly a lone pvper, which i have respect for all solo pvpers.
eventually the lone pilot catches me in station, So i grab my trusty domi and undock.
A little cat and mouse game ensues between my domi and his vaga, evenually i dock up and grab a ship scanner,
I scan his ship see he has a ab and no mwd. so i quickly dock up, grab my cane ( i am new to matar ships ) and then undock,
proceede to him at 75km away from me.. fully expecting a gank waiting in the form of two other corpmates of his.
We engage in combat, my buffer cane vs his ab vaga, after few well placed salvo's his shields start to die, then his armour and hull quickly melt into vapor.
this is when i fully realise he maybe a solo pvp looking for some fun pvp and not gank pvp vs a "carebear".
All you guys tathat get war decced. and are scared. try using a T1 Insured battle cruiser , It may just open your eyes to a whole new world.

I used to do this a lot, it's good fun and I daresay my opponents enjoyed it too (most of the time).

If the war decs have got you down, why not throw a couple of cheap T1 insurable ships against your adversaries? Who knows, you might just have fun in the process!

Had some fun a few months back, we got decced by a nasty big ol' alliance. Day the war started, they bring in about 30 battleships and some logistics to our Highsec home, troll around a bit, hoping we'd put up a similar fleet. All our PvPers were on the other side of the galaxy however, in the end, we actually managed to 'scare them off' by setting up a fleet of I think it was about 40 frigates and destroyers, all T1 fit, and all made for pure gank. We had hoped to use those to take down one of their logi's with a massed fleet alpha/gank that would have ensured we'd all die in flames trying.
Sadly, when they noticed we were amassing in larger and larger numbers of throwaway ships, they left.

I tried war deccing a corp for that same purpose, they joined an alliance, I war dec alliance, they leave alliance and so forth, while they hide in a WH. I have to say I wish I war decced some one like you. This was all solo ofc + alts for scouting ofc :P
