Are you guys all from the UK ?
It seems all my corpmates from the UK can't get on.. and they can't access the forums.
I (Dutch) have no problems at all. |

i can't login easily. the system always tell me: "connection to server lost" that words repeat and repeat about thousands of times and drive me crazy. but once logined, i can play eve well and never lost my connection to the server.
i want know why it's sooooo difficult to LOGIN??? not "contact your ISP please"( Those ISPs are so poor, they have to endure flame of anger ) if my network is broken, why i can play EVE well after login and NEVER lost my connection???
i summit all data the official required and ask the quesition. i don't want to get answer that" please contact your ISP" or sth like that anymore.have you ever take my data seriously and study them?
MY NETWORK IS OK, OR I CAN'T PLAY EVE WELL AFTER LOGIN. THAT KIND OF ANSWER IS ILLOGICAL AND IRRESPONSIBLE
I have to apologize for my rude attitude, but as a paying player, I was irritated by the support-team's rigescent answer. I come from China, I will help CCP introduce EVE to China |

While there may be server side issues, I had none last night so I can't speak to it. Nor can I explain the 10.288 online issue. However as to some of the connection issues:
ISPs around the world are scrambling at the moment to update their routers. Cisco has released 3 new critical vulnerabilities and Juniper has relased 1 new critical vulnerability. For those not familiar with networking a large majority, over 80% would be my guess, of all routers on the Internet are either Cisco or Juniper and routers are the devices that control how traffic on the Internet gets from your computer to your destination, in this case Eve. ISP's are updating and rebooting these routers all over the Internet.
For the most part the average Internet user won't notice this however some ISP's technical staff are not as good as others and the rest will have unanticipated issues. Gamers are more likely to notice it to some extent as connections drop while being re-routed when ISP's reboot routers. Major ISPs typically implement redundant setups but even then sometimes things do go as planned especially with a project as large as patching that many routers. Have some patience these ISPs have been patching routers sinice last week Wednesday and the four I work with say they will be done around 1 February, just in time for patch day.
