Hi all,
I've decided to start the move from Firefox to Chrome now it has adblock plus and supports xmarks. I also found a linkify like extension called Clickable Links.
What other must have extensions should I get ? One I'm looking for is one that opens the 'home' page in a new tab.

a Redirect Remover for the EVE forums would be nice too, either a userscript or an extension ? ----- Malevolence. is recruiting. Dive into the world of 0.0 !

The two I use most often is Not Script and the TinyURL decoder. Not Script is similar to No Script for firefox.

If you're thinking of moving to Chrome you might want to consider SRWare Iron instead - all the shiny goodness of Chrome but without the concerning privacy and data protection issues.

Is there any way to make chrome look like a normal windows app? I did some cursory searching for an "IE" type theme but couldn't find one. I mostly just miss the normal windows main menu and status bar at the bottom. Having the tabs over the address bar bothers me a bit too. I won't use Firefox because I absolutely hate it.
Currently I'm stuck using chrome due to IE randomly locking up my computer and having to just pull the power on it. I don't feel like messing with my system any further really, just going to windows 7 when I can afford a machine next year. In all the messing around with trying to get the crap ass games I've bought from steam working I somehow ****ed up IE...either that or the extra 2 gigs I stuck in this machine is bad...haven't been arsed enough to actually test the chip yet, and nothing else has a problem. Probably get around to testing it once I start having the same issue elsewhere.
I like the speediness of chrome and the translate deal, but I really am bothered by the look of the window :P I'm a bit hesitant to keep using it though, it seems way too paired down for my tastes...I like being able to fine tune security in my browsers like IE. IE actually has better security than most browsers out there if you know what you're doing, which for people not used to the way Microsoft does things, it's a real pain in the ass to deal with. - - [SERVICE] Corp Standings For POS anchoring
