Hi!
Singularity is now ready for the mass test and running a new mirror for this. Tomorrow it will switch back to the old mirror.
The best way of patching is to use SisiLauncher: http://content.eveonline.com/SisiLauncher/124/SisiLauncher.exe
Mac clients will very probably not be able to patch and connect.
Please post (only) in this thread, if you have any problems with connecting to Sisi today.

Please put the rest of the faction ammo, cap boosters and ships on the market, and consider remove the AT ones from your seeding scripts. It's only more accurate & reasonable. |

Just a question, as I've only just started participating in these things; but do skill points acquired from previous mass tests carry on over the mirrors or not? Because if not it's rather pointless :/ especially given that the mirror was so soon after the free SP.

Skill points from mass-tests are normally partially reapplied after new mirrors (only the SPs from the last 3 mass tests are applied).
For today's mirror I will probably not apply any skillpoints (except if I have some spare time, but I don't think so...). The skill-points for today's mass-test will be applied tomorrow on the old mirror.

Who's idea was to run a new mirror?
I've spend the 2mil SP from my participation on the previous mass test so that I could fly a CS on this one and now I'm back to scratch.
Way to go guys.

As for bugs, the latest Sisi client seems to cause a hell of a lot of flickering when alt+tabbing, worse than the current repeating redraw of the recent builds once the ui is visible. |

The new mirror is necessary to switch back to a different patch tomorrow. I know it is not optimal, but the best option in the current situation.

Ok, I get it. I just got rather confused and disappointed when I logged in and saw no unallocated SPs. Thanks for the quick reply! :) catch ya later.

Upgrade to Microsoft Security Essentials, you won't regret it. AVG isn't what it used to be.

It looks like the introduction movie might be broken. Try to press ESC.

SISI still appears offline. Even on the server status websites. But there is a masstest tonight?

What masstest? No announcements that I can find (maybe I'm blind) and not in the calendar?

Quote: Hi! We are holding tests normally on Thursdays and sometimes on Saturdays. These tests will help us to test performance improvements and to find potential performance problems with new features.

Dudes, you shocked me. Invested like 10 hours to setup stuff to test. Really glad it will be switched back.

I wanted to take part in the MassTest but I didn't try to log in 'cause the 'server status' indicated that Singularity was down ( and still does) I'm on Singularity now and the sound appears to be turned off. :::::sigh:::::

Edited by: Rokhy Bhalboah on 10/02/2011 22:28:37 What the hell? I've been sitting around since 7pm, frequently starting the client to see if SiSi was up, and it stills appears to be offline. I'm running it with the /server:singularity command line. The server status page on chruker's also shows offline. Waiting for hours... and nothing. What happened here?
And so much for free SP, I didn't even get a chance to earn it.

From what I can gather, everyone that applied the misfired 229234 patch got screwed with no access to SiSi (because the current build is OLDER, 229050), and thus no possibility to participate in the mass test.
Dear CCP, <insert rant about PATCHES JUST BEFORE MASS TESTS here>.
