i dont know where i saw this, but i remember seeing recently a drake having a sig radius of 1589m, (this may have been a dream so bear with me)
so wen cud cap guns begin to hurt 1?
i know it's not really on ever moros pilot's to do list, but do cap guns take any advantage on shield rigged vessels?

all guns work the same, if that drake is close and orbiting its transveral could be very high and from range very very low.
So yeah a dread can hit a drake if:
the drake isnt moving too fast at range
the drake isnt moving
the drake is moving but without ab and is target painted (tho again if its in your face you could miss)
best bet is to whip out eft and use the dps graphs, just remeber to drag the tp's and webs into the ships projected effects box :P

I one volleyed a Crow with a Naglfar once. Speed is your problem more than sig.

Throw a few 90% webs on it and get a rapier to paint it up a bit.

If ship is flying straight at you (traversal velocity = 0) and it's within optimal, then chance to hit is always 100%.

Titans dont have much issues hitting them, dreads you could do by indeed applying some 90% webs, but then it still takes some time before he is finally sitting still, would be easier ways to kill a drake.

Drake is still smaller then MWD fitted battleships, yet much faster then them. If battleships can just orbit dreads, so can drakes
