Ok I know this has been asked many times before, and I have really not seen a definate answer, but the point was just brought up on the General Board about jettisoned cargo containers and people taking the contents.
Is there secure containers out for sale now? Is it the ones that are in the market saying Small and Medium Cargo Containers. Never bought one, so don't know for sure.
This could be the answer everyone has been looking for as for the people ransacking your jettisoned cargo containers, if they work. If they do, peole will just shoot them when they can't open them so no one wins....
Just wondering...

Secure cargo containers, they have different levels of secure.
Lvl 1
A frigate sitting next to it to ward off somebody trying to steal it.
Lvl 2
An indy sitting next to it to ward off somebody trying to steal it.
Lvl 3
A cruiser sitting next to it to ward off somebody trying to steal it.
Lvl 4
A battleship sitting next to it to ward off somebody trying to steal it.
---
Course then you have the retaitory secureness:
"Take that and i'll kill you later"
Be able to guard your assets or don't jett them at all.

Ok bringing this subject up again. I just read the replies to the questions on Secure Containers on the Vault Boards. The answers were dated the 14th of July, Yesterday. And the Dev's all say the same thing. Use the Secure Cargo Containers.
Where are these sold? I have never seen any on the Market. Has anyone seen any of these secure containers.
Anyway here is the Dev's reply to the questions:

The new cans will be out later they are probably maky sure that the password thing will work--hate to mine a whole belt only to be unable to open my can and take it home

I would hope this also. But why do Pann and all the Dev's still insist that they are available on the Market. If they aren't then stop saying they are on the Market.
But again, I am like you, wouldn't want to mine and not be able to open the containers.... :)

perhaps they are referring to this buyable 450 cargo cans which are sooooo useful *clears throat*
