Hi there community!
Just what the title says bacicly.
I would like to put forward a suggestion that CCP should try and make a skill training app for the devices in the title (and maybe even for android devices).
This is because when my skill training finishes in the middle of the day (when i'm in school or in town) I miss alot of skill training time because I can't get to my computer. But, I almost always have my Ipod touch with me. So then, with this app, I can edit my skill trining queue when i'm no where near my computer (Obivously you would need a 3g connection or a wi-fi area to do this).
Please disscuss this.
Thanks,
Raptros |

strange, when I was on holidays for 3 weeks without connection to eve, I didn't lose one single Skillpoint.
Maybe you should plan your skills ahead.

1. Training Queue. There's no reason for it to be empty in the middle of the day when you can log on the evening or even the morning before school and add more.

Yes it won't be a problem if you have a skill that takes a long amount of time. It's just the short ones (30 mins/1 hour/2hours) that are the problem. And the skill queue only allows queued skills for 24 hours. What if you stay over a friends house for the night or something?

That one is for paying eve on the Ipad. What i'm suggesting is just a skill training app (which will take less space and be less harsh on the processor).
Oh, and another thing, what if you have a break from eve for a while (say 2-3 weeks) but still want to train skills for when/if you come back? That is what this will be used for. |

This has been a request for some time. Players have always wanted a way to do it via a website or application (regardless of platform).
API keys have always been a way to pull information from TQ. Even with the API overhaul coming I do not thing this will (or should) be a feature of API keys. It is a one way trip for API data. Also with the focus on the new revamp of the API keys being security and customization I don't see it in the API's cards.
Perhaps when Eve Gate matures a little more we might find that functionality present. ================== It is, what it is. |

Or for when you go on holiday for 1/2/3 weeks (like the guy in the quote ) and you don't have any 1/2/3 week skills to train?
Are you serious? The skill queue allows for many short skills, then one final one to bump it to a few days.
Example. 47 x 30 minute skills and 1 x (insert number) day skill = joy. Your example. 48 x 30 minute skills = fail.
If you know you're going away for a few days/weeks you plan ahead. Or do you believe CCP should plan your life as well?
