I have had it with PVE, I suck at PVP, PI is OK but it's slow. Mining and industry is slow to.
I just want a 'FUN' way of making lots of ISK. Plus, I am at a stand still with skills, I don't know what i want any more, everything seems so far away, and I don;t want to train for something and find it's not want I want.
Can someone help me please? |

Trade. Buy low, sell high; no skill training required.

how does one do that, I mean, buying a ship, flying it 20 jumps or so, then selling it for a slight profit.
am I missing something here? |

I have an alt who sits in Jita and exploits the instant gratification nature of people. The easiest way I've found to do this is to find an item with zero buy orders, and then setup a buy order for the item. After buying a dozen or so of the item at 1000 isk each, I will then turn around and resell them at market prices. Sometimes the selling price is 10,000 isk, sometimes it's 150,000 isk. Either way it's a lot of profit for very little risk. However the profit over time is low.
Of course I make plenty of money other ways, too. However these other trade secrets you should learn on your own. :)

yeah sure,
Thing to realize is that eve is far from a perfect game. Don't get me wrong, there is fun to have here (I woulnd't bother writing this if there wasn't). You see, eve's initial conception was that of open pvp, mining and industry. Now I will attempt to explain to you how we got from that pure sincere passionate premise to the perversitiy of today. You see, more and more morons started paying ccp to mine and do missions in high sec, not realizing that they will burn out doing that within 1 month (6 if they're autistic, which a lot of people are on the interwebs). Now, what that triggered is that ccp focused attention and pr on the pve aspects of the game (which was not the initial vision, or passion if you will). So, now we have a bunch of paying missioners and miners in high sec with no clue what to do as they approach the autistic 6 month mark.
The sad thing is that I can't even flame you for it because ccp itself scammed you into thinking that this game is what you think it is, which, in fact, it's not.
It's like a chemical uncontrolled explosion; noobs think pve is good => ccp sells soul to devil => noobs think pve is good a little more +> etc etc.

If there would be a fun way to make ISK, how would the value of ISK look like?

Use real money to buy plex and sell them in game. Buy lots of ships and lose them in fun ways. Thank you very much.

I've found that a good way to make isk is to sell stuff from LP stores for example +5 implants sell for nice 140mils a piece in quite systems, granted the sell is low for only one or two in a month but it's still enough to double you initial investment. Also some LP store stuff sells better then others for example amarr faction lasers sell like ice cream in a heat wave.

Lowsec exploration is fun and reasonably profitable for a new player as is Ninja salvage and rig production.
Train up some scanning skills and then later, get involved in wormholes - also fun and very profitable.

Indeed, if its fun and excitement your after then you should try your hand at exploration and wormholes!
As someone has pointed out in this post, the new ISK making guide is perhaps a good place to start.

Train for combat, do pvp, if you suck at it and/or are just too lazy to do a couple L4s occasionally to pay for your interceptors just buy plex and sell them on the market.
I mean, even sucking at PvP, you'd need at most, what, one plex a month in isk? That's only another 15 bucks, man, well worth it if you're a casual player and don't care.
For comparison, soloing a level 4 and salvaging gets you about 20m isk, generally speaking, and takes maybe and hour, give or take. So buying a plex would get you out of about 15 hours of isk farming from missions with a single account. Personally, I find the PvE farming between bouts relaxing, but if you don't you're welcome to fill up the CCP staff's beer mugs instead. I'm sure they'd appreciate it ---

What he says. If you have the required skills get yourself into a reputable wspace corp who are willing to teach you the ropes, maybe starting out with some guys in a lower class wormhole.
Sleepers are about as interesting as PVE gets and if done right will make you a bucket load of ISK for relatively little time invested. On top of that you can learn to pvp in a challenging environment (no local, different system effects etc) but without the hassle of huge blobs, hotdrops, can flipping, neutral reppers etc that you get elsewhere.
It certainly isn't 'easy' and it isn't for everybody but it seems a good way for newer players to get a leg up and start competing with the older folks.
