Thank you guys so much for your support and ideas. I'm very happy that my work is so well-received. Because of that, I've gone ahead and done more!
So you're pursuing the market looking to buy a shiny new Omen, but wait... what is that? What's this "Add to cart" function? And what is that new icon in the bottom-right corner of the market? Uh oh....
INTRODUCING: THE SHOPPING CART!!! (In deep, metal voice) Credit: Elzon1 for the mention
Buying a large assortment of different goods at one time has now gotten easier with the Shopping Cart! Not only can you keep a better track of your purchases, but you can also get a good idea of how much you're actually spending on a particular loadout.
But Jon, why can't I just purchase what I need from the market anyway?
Indeed you can good sir, the Cart can be bypassed completely when making normal purchases. However, the Cart has one distinct and supreme advantage: Cart Orders can be SAVED.
That's right, you can now repurchase your ship and all the necessary components INSTANTANEOUSLY!
Saved orders will automatically upload the cheapest price in the station/location you designate once they're loaded into the Cart, so there's no fuss going through everything individually. All information will be present within the Cart itself.
Thanks again for reading!
Keep the ideas rolling guys, and I'll see how Photoshop can turn them into semi-reality!

When you are purchasing items, they have to be matched to a station and a price to be purchased.

Ah, so I suppose it couldn't be coded to "pull" that information, or inputted in some form? For instance, when "saving" an item you would input the location of where you would want it to be purchased, and clicking the "Refresh Cart" item would get pricing info.

Originally by: Clementina This is a good idea, but it needs two things.
If you have a tab in Orders named 'Modules', there there should also be a tab in Transactions named 'Modules' which contains the buying and selling resulting from the orders in the 'Modules' tab.
Also there needs to be some API changes, specifically to Market Transactions and Market Orders.
The Market Orders API is described Here. I see two ways to change it, One could either have the arguments take the name of a tab as an option and return only orders associated with that tab. Or all orders that are returned can have the name of a tab associated with them on output.
The Market Transactions API is described Here. Again, I see two ways to change it. Either an argument can be added so that one or a list of tabs may be requested. Or the market transactions that are returned can be labeled as belonging to a particular tab.
This is a good idea. I'm going to start working on some changes to the transaction page. It needs an upgrade too .
