Oje' Rivero	Posted - 2011.02.14 18:31:00 - [1] I'll be getting my Mach hopefully this week and I need a decent shield tanked loadout for it. Sadly, I can't use T2 guns at the moment due to my lack of skills (I will have them in a month) and I lack the shield management V (I may consider using my unallocated SP on it if it is absolutely essential) skill so any fits including the Shield Boost Amp II will be fairly useless to my at this time. Lastly, I will be using T2 items as I simply cannot afford faction/officer items. Thanks a lot for your time!

That would require me training caldari and a ton of missiles skills, both are useless and a waste of SP to me.

Gzilinanrt	Posted - 2011.02.14 19:12:00 - [6] Another case of some noob not researching before buying :/ Solo C3 (im assuming solo as you dont say otherwise) requires you have a proper tank before all else. Usually the Mach will speedtank but you cannot speedtank a BS in wormholes doue to all the webbing. The Mach is totally useless to you and a complete waste of money. Out of all the ships available to you (minnie and gallente BS) your best bet is a Maelstrom. Problem is without T2 guns you will be kited by the 50-65km spawns. Other option is to go for a loki and whack a 500m fit on it, which will rip C3s apart BUT is easy to catch (bad jump through cant cloak...2 of them you lost your ship) All this is without any knowledge or experience of incursion WH changes ie neuting so check that out as well.

You'll have to be able to last under it as if solo (granted for less time) or be warping out and thus useless to your gang.

Of course, I've been running C3's with my corpmates for quite a while now with a much worse character and ship.

I do about 1kdps w/o t2 guns. I would run 4 shield mods in the mids with a TC, and throw in a nano in a low slot instead of one of the TE's. In our corp we run C3's all the time and I'll tell you that when running in a gang, you do not need enough tank on each ship to "solo" it. I am assuming however this is "your" WH. It would be extra stupid to bring a mach into someone elses hole.

If i were missioning for another race i would use their ship/ammo. Since it only costs me 5 mil per 10k, I use it all day long.
