Any easy ways out of 0.0 when not in any alliances?

Teishar	Posted - 2011.02.15 21:03:00 - [1] I logged in after a week find our corp disbanded and no one in the alliance would respond to me, so I figured I'd just head back to empire space. Now I'm stuck in a system where the next system over has a giant bubble guarding it and the people in the alliance there are always on. I've tried staying up late, waking up early, coming home on my lunch break. They're always there. So I tried to backtrack today, but again, the system only has 1 entrance and one exit so they had people sitting on the gate. I tried offering a ransom, but they're spanish and didn't comprehend or didn't care. So is there any real way out of this? If I just let them pod me, would I go back to empire? Thanks TLDR: stuck in 0.0 with no way out. Would podding me allow me to respawn in empire?

You'll respawn wherever your clone is set. If that's empire, then yes. If that's the same 0.0 system you're locked in, life is about to get hard.

(If you have no cloaky alt and no friends, what were you doing in 0.0 in the first place?) 3. Make a run for it. Get yourself podded. Set medical clone to empire. Update clone. Try again. One way or the other you'll be in empire.

Zyress	Posted - 2011.02.15 21:46:00 - [10] When I've been stuck in unfriendly 0.0 before I've used server crashes or restarts to get out, for 10 to 15 mins after a server restart (i.e. Tuesday morning or after a crash) the gate camps are absent while ppl log back in and get organized.

I;ve been in alot of 0.0 space with nof riends and evenc oem back and been docked and never had much issue moving out you just gotta do it at a good tiem and be brave how do you know there is a giant bubblle always on the gate anyway ? ----------------------------------------- View The North Star! Do you know who (which corp) is holding the gate? And pray that your medical clone isn't located in a 0.0 station without a medical facility. Because if so, unless you can move your clone, you are probably going to lose a LOT of skill points... But anyways, if podding is your only way out, just get on IMMEDIATELY after downtime and make a mad dash for it. That's why you train an alt scout if you are going to be going into those places. When you go in with your corp, take your alt in and log him out. If you get stuck, log hm in, probe a way out, bookmark and log in your helpless character for the escape. A 0.0 to empire wormhole bridge could take anywhere from 10 minutes to 10 days to find. You need patience, but you have a better chance with the wormholes and getting through than through some gank pipeline.

That's all it takes sometimes is to run like hell and hope for the best. Sometimes it actually works.

knobber Jobbler Executive Intervention Controlled Chaos	Posted - 2011.02.16 06:47:00 - [26] you can change your clone to a station in empire if you have the standings from where you are, put all your stuff on the market or contracts and suicide clone out of there. not ideal but you'll get a good price for your gear there. if you have a covops ship or cloaky recon you could try escaping. make yourself bookmarks 150k of the gate and wait for the bubbles to go down just to be safe.
