CCP, please take note, there are people who suffer from frequent and regular node drops. This totally destroys playability of the game. Irregardless of how brilliant and interesting this game is, if I keep getting disconnected every other hour, my interest will surely die real fast.
Please stop putting in new stuff like tech 2 haulers and titans or whatever. Please fix the basics. I'm sure CCP would not tolerate my credit card bouncing every other month.
I started EVE not long ago and was really head over heels into the game. But I must say that the regular disconnects is making me loose interest already. I found that for the past week I do not do much other than switch skill training. This is the result of soddy basics. It will hit your bottom line, and you will find that no matter how great your core game is, your customers will be forced to leave.

Same here, to an extent. I fully intend to sub for the forseeable future, but these node drops are getting far too frequent, I got booted three times last night during a 45 minute mining op.

See the "count your CTD's" post in this forum. It seems to be worse for some than others which implies it may not be all CCP's fault.

True... True... But CCP still has to at least try to do something about it. If it is at all within their power to do something, they should. They need to heed the petitions and trace the problems.
If the problem is server side like some kinda timeout code or something, then they need to tweak it. If the problem is some ISP out there, CCP should get in touch with the ISP and work something out. After all, the ISP is affecting CCP's customers, and the customers are the direct source of CCP's revenue.

And, of course, my "please temporarily cease any new development to fix bugs" thread was locked within five minutes of it being up. So, I don't know what to tell you. á

CCP has already said that two completely different groups work on development and bug fixing. So one is not hindering the other. -Jade

In fact they do, development adds new things to fix too fast

Some people play the game more often. If you play more, you will crash more.

Sounds like an ISP problem?

Obviously it's all a conspiracy and CCP are just lounging about having coffee at their office in Reykavik.

Actually, I believe they prefer beer.
You also forgot to add the program they use so they can watch each of us drop and laugh as it happens.
