Aurora Polaris is looking for new recruits to join our ranks!
What are we apart of?
Aurora Polaris is part of the alliance The Babylon Consortium, the alliance's primary function is all things industry and wormhole operations.
Who are we?
We are a laidback corp, a mature and fun gamestyle is important to us; and always real life comes first. We are mainly based in Gallente space and cover all timezones, we seek expansion in all directions when it comes to industry and mining, PvP is more than welcome, the core membership of the corp has been in numerous 0.0 conflicts of all scales and lag fests.
We want to create a few well organized and specialized groups within our corporation/alliance to do different tasks. Dedicated experienced or new players whom seek leadership positions of these groups are welcome to apply also. We want your ideas!
Who do we look for?
- Mature players, in nature not age
- All timezones!, We would be especially eager for players in EU or AU timezones though.
- Good knowledge of the game and its intricacies
- Self-sufficient players
- Minimum of a year in the game, Exceptions can be made if you meet previous criteria well enough.
- As the above would imply, no trial accounts!
We operate a 30 day trial period, in which activity and participation will be noted. Willingness to provide API key (limited) is also required.
Main focus:
- General Industry and mining
- Capital Industry Projects (Freighter and Carrier building)
- T2 and T3 production
- Research of bpo's
What we offer:
- Those whom seek leadership; Organizing mining and mission running ops in empire and / or in a wormhole, the logistics are ready.
- Highly skilled and experienced base group of players(core is 3-5 year old chars)
- Usage of research slots, after a trial period of 30 days!
- Internal buy / sell market of minerals/ore (we offer 100% free refine)
- Access to the best ores with organized wormhole operations
- PvP, in wormhole, or elsewhere, in EVE you can die anywhere 
- Transparency in corp wallet
- And yes, Teamspeak/forum also!
What we ask for:
- 5% corp tax
- Atleast monthly participation/funding of corp ops for pos fuel payment and corp projects
- Social and mature interaction!
- Enthusiasm to get involved and get your hands dirty!

We have guys that do pvp roams practically everyday, w/h shenanigans, and much more. Don't need to just settle for your average Corp that rarely talks to their alliance mates. We have a great alliance that dabbles in anything you want to do.

Pyroxeres: 108.79 isk/M3
Veldspar: 104.20 Isk/M3
Kernite: 99.04 Isk/M3
Tip: Stay away from Omber, at a mere 69.41 Isk/M3, its the worst Ore to mine.

Bumpage, with useful info!
Aspiring Orca pilots, the Orca is selling for 415 mil in Jita at the moment when it only costs 346mil in minerals. Save yourself 70mil and try to find someone to build one for you if you supply minerals. Any Corp/Alliance worth joining is bound to have someone who builds Sub-Capitals / Capitals.
Tritanium (44 Million Units), Pyrite (6.8mil), Mexallon (2.4mil), Isogen (400k) and Nocxium (104k) make up 315mil of the 346mil price tag. Dedicated miners can mine 91% of the Orca cost without leaving high sec (start with Pyroxeres to get a head start on that Nocxium amount). Aurora Polaris has wormhole access for the ABC ores if you are inclined to mine it all.

Traveling Salesmen Bumpage!
Incursions are excellent isk makers for PVE fleets. Some people boost 100 mil / hr, I personally have made 50mil/hr. So what does this mean for the traveling salesmen? Time not spend in an incursion is a lot of isk lost. A good fleet will not go running 5 jumps to pick up that ammo when they could spend that 15minutes making 30million isk.
Watch the incursion channel and open fits that are posted constantly. Record common modules and weapons. Bringing a good mix of all ammo (and faction ammo) and hardeners will allow you to supply all types of incursion runners. If you can afford to hold onto a few basilisks, putting up the basilisk and fittings on the market in incursion system will net you some really good profit. Play with your pricing and see how much isk you can get from these guys, think of your items as a convenience tax.

Bumpage û exiting stations safely
When you find yourself loading your hauler down with expensive gear in a trade hub, there is a delicate cargo load balance between IÆll be safe and IÆll be a target. One of the best ways to protect yourself is not to be scanned leaving a trade hub station.
Create a bookmark that is off grid from the station that you are aligned too when undocking. To do this requires a frigate, microwarp drive, and 10minutes. Buy any frigate and smallest microwarp drive, fit cap rechargers as needed to be cap stable.
Next undock from the station, allow the undocking momentum to carry you past the ships on the exit so you wonÆt get bumped out of alignment (if you do just redock and try again, note that you donÆt change the direction you are headed when undocking). Activate the microwarp drive and let it your ship cruise until the station goes off grid (leave the overview screen). Create a book mark from the ôpeople and placesö screen and put it in a folder named ôstation exitsö.
Next time you undock that orca or freighter in Jita, instantly warp to your bookmark to prevent being scanned and playing 10 minutes of bumper-cars with the ships undocking.
- This doesnÆt prevent being scanned on a gate so be careful of how much you carry. ItÆs always a risk to haul expensive gear/loot.

When researching Blueprint Orginals, make sure you are aware of the "perfect" Material Level (ME). Putting a BPO in the POS for longer than required not only wastes POS fuel, but you could be researching another BPO during that "wasteful time".
Taking the time to research the Perfect ME only takes a few seconds. Here's a useful link that I use: http://zofu.no-ip.de/bpo

Info bump!
There is so much in eve you will be hard pressed to know everything. From my beginning days, learning ôctrl + clickö to lock, IÆve been learning every time I log in. IÆve been trying to figure out how to get wrecks, cans, and other misc stuff to show up on screen (be able to interact with) without being on the overview cluttering it up.
In the wormhole, I want very specific things on the overview, and I donÆt want wrecks hiding someone landing on grid or on my directional scan. I asked alliance on TeamSpeak3 and itÆs called ôshow all bracketsö. Right click your overview menu (not in overview settings) and there is an option there to ôshow all bracketsö. Finally! Overview is clean and I can still grab cans from mining, salvage wrecks and have a non-cluttered directional scan. ItÆs the little victories that make this guy happy.

Info Bump û T2 Manufacturing
A few constraints include: Researching T2 component BPOs, isk investment, and willingness to research. To avoid getting into invention, weÆll assume you bought the T2 bpc off contracts, so material level of -4
T2 component BPOs are 4.5mil each off market, but they only take 1 to 5 days to research to perfect. Photon Microprocessor, used in building hulks, Perfect ME of 2 (4hrs research time) and PE of 15 (1d 7h). I highly suggest you build components from the moon goo reactions. Building components can be the difference of building hulk at 152 million and building a hulk at 169 million isk buying components off market.
Isk startup cost û T2 component BPOs, and the amount required to build your first ship. Rough estimate of costs for some ships: Buzzards@17mil, Hulks run about 150mil, Golems are about 800mil, Jump Freighters are high-end at 4.5billion isk.
ThereÆs a lot of T2 out there (not just ships!) and a little research and you are bound to find a niche to produce in.

Info Bump û Camaraderie
I wanted to write something on camaraderie but everything IÆve written so far looked to me like I was telling people how to play the game :-/. Itsurprises me how easy it is to make comrades by fleeting up just a few times to get help or to help out someone else. Eve is a very long term style of game play, so even with a little effort here and there goes a long way.
So IÆll leave this bump with the only useful thought IÆve had this morning:
Eve is as active as the player that plays it.
If youÆre looking for some action, like to fleet up or make fleets of your own, Aurora Polaris is as active for you as you make it.

Bump - Manufacturing
Not sure if youÆll like manufacturing? T1 production is very easy to get into and doesnÆt cost too much in assets. You donÆt need a 400 mil BPO to test the waters. YouÆll take a cut to your profits, but almost all BS and lower T1 BPCs can be found on contract in Jita for around 500k isk.
ItÆs important to note that because T1 production is easy to get into, there will be a lot of competition so profits arenÆt always the greatest. production efficiency V recommended.
