I'd say even bad pilots are welcome, provided they want to learn, get better at piloting spaceships and have fun in the process. Everyone has seen pilots that are considered "good" make stupid moves and lose their ship in the process and on the other hand, we have all seen newbros get some awesome juicy kills. We're not really an elitist corp, or an elitist alliance. Also, tribal band is a fairly young alliance, so give it some time to develop, it will surprise you. We don't train our ratters to dock / POS up almost instantly, we teach them tricks that PvPers do to catch them, so they can protect their assets, which are then used to fund their PvP (and other) ambitions and have fun (this is similar to the "don't feed the trolls"). This is, after all, a game. It is sophisticated and often taken very seriously, but it's still a game. And the point of a game is to have fun.
So, if a person meets the requirements, is willing (and wants) to participate, is mature and wants to have a good time in a very good 0.0 space with awesome allies, this is a place for him.
I've been in this corp for over 3 months now and I can honestly say that it's the best place to be in that I know of (because the people are awesome). |
