Some of you may do this already but we at AF are asking all new and existing members to send in screen shots of their character selection screen. This is to help deter people who enjoy creating new characters just to attempt a corporate theft knowing that character will be deleted. If you know their main, at least you can get revenge.
If this saves one corp from getting ripped off than it was worth it to me. Many people like to help noobies get started, including me but it really hurts the community when you get hit by a scam because it makes you, at least ME, think twice about helping someone.

I made a post under Crime and Punishment about what happened to our corp. Nothing bad thank God, just two hangars full of noob stuff but to have the person gank it all and recycle it including noob ships really ****ed me off. I just kept thinking, what a looser.

O well, I hope he doesn't delete his character so we can pod him a few times! :D

Heh good idea, but stop and think about it, which hurts him more?
yu all podding him a few times, or him having to delete his primary char, that he's spent a month training skills on? :)

This works ok for those who dont have multiple accounts. Some do have separate accounts just for scamming :(

We got ripped off this way too. Screenshot is easily faked in Photoshop though. Better would be an in-game feature which allowed current and previous "aliases" to be tracked.

yes, that is true. but then you simply say "I want to see ArkMiner20307 logon," once you get the screenshot.
if they can't loging immediately, well better safe than sorry.
