Now i realize I actually like it when I can do it without breaking my mining laser cycles! It's not the pvp part that bothers me I think -- it's the stopping mining part. It is true, there are not a lot of us left after the prior Hulkageddons. I'm hoping GrieferGeddon will work to keep the remaining miners who hate being forced into pvp (as much as a pvper hates to be forced to mine) to stay in eve.

You're quite right. It is. Like it or loathe it, if what Helicity and her fellow organisers continue to do, aside from providing EVE with extra publicity within the MMO press (and beyond), inspires others to start their own events, whether they include of a handful of other players to dozens or more, is a Good Thing.
