Depends on what your going for. If your looking for something in the same style of the Eve soundtrack, an extension of it, i would suggest starting at the following . . .
PVE Missions Dubstep such as Burial. Black Sun Empire is very very good. Clubfoot is a great ambient Dubstep band that has not a bad track in the mix.
General Eve music - I find a lot of the Eve music was influenced by 90's bands like Aphex Twin and Autechre. For Aphex it would be Suggested Ambient Works II, and for Autechre Innacubala might be a start. Black Dog is more current (last few years) and meshes really well with the existing music I would start with Radio Scarecrow. Paul Jordan's Pale Blue Dot is an album that feels like CCP lifted tracks directly from it.
Keep in mind, this is all if you want music that meshes perfectly with the in game soundtrack. If you do and want other groups of the same sort, I can give you a list just write me in game.

Anything from the Ultimae label: Solar Fields, Aes Dana, Carbon Based Lifeforms, H.U.V.A Network, Cell, etc. Also, check out Steve Roach. He's got a LOT of albums with lots of different approaches to ambient music. Start with his Mystic Chords & Sacred Spaces albums, they go great with the game.

John, I love all the bands you mentioned for Eve music, may I suggest Subhiem? It can be epic for battles.

Oh yeah, Ultimae records is indeed a great label for "EVE music". For me, Carbon Based Lifeforms and Solar Fields are the default choices. |

This is a free, online, ad free radio station. The name of the station is Space Station Soma. They play perfect eve music pretty much all the time. Ambient space electronic goodness. The site is completely safe as well.

Rettic's "Sounds for Flying" compilations are all excellent: Linkage
There is also a compilation called "Ambient Space Travel" or "Space Heaven White Lights Ambient Mystified Atmosphere" floating around, which contains more Eve-suitable music than you'll be able to listen to in a lifetime. Highly recommended as well.

I made a mistake on my earlier post, when I said Club Foot, I meant Club Root. It works well with both mellow moments and more fast paced action.
Also when Im in a Brian Eno mood I also put in John Hopkins or Julien Neito.
