I bought some Plex's from someone who has them at a corp owned station in Null, now I know I won't be able to actually dock at the station nor want to. What I do want to know is if they could deny me access to my Plex, where I couldn't add the game time to my account from the assets window.
Thank you for your time

It is possible. If you cannot physicaly interact with the PLEX because you cannot dock in that station then you may be unable to use it and if he is an owner of the station he can easily just put it back into his inventory. --- END OF LINE. |

I'm pretty sure you can't activate a plex through assets Universe wide. If that was the case there would be no hubs for plex trading. Maybe you can regionally, I don't know. Best bet would be to just relist it and chalk it up to "lesson learned". Because seriously, Rule #1 of contracts is don't accept contracts in player outposts.

Im not allowed access to a certain station in 0.0 which I do have items in, however I can still contract stuff up from there.
So going by this I would say that your plex's are safe.
No Guarantee but my experience so far tells me its fine.

You can apply a PLEX from wherever you are at through your assets window. You shouldn't have any trouble, even if you can't dock in the station. I recently sold some items through a contract in a station that I can't dock in in null sec so I think that you'll be fine.

See this is what scares me. Is this possible?
For the record, it seems you can activate a Plex anywhere. I've activated Plex's in Jita while in a WH.

You can not move the plex. However via the assets menu, search for the plex, and feel free to activate it from anywhere. Right click - add gametime to account. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shields are like pants, they're supposed to come off. Edited by: Gnulpie on 22/02/2011 08:18:25 You can activate PLEX throughout the whole universe.
You don't need to be physically at the station where they are, you also don't need to be in the same region.
Just look them up in your assets, rightlick onto the PLEX and activate it.
Edit: An no, once you own the stuff, the station owner can not move it back into his belongings. |

you can even activate it while on wormhole space, so while item is unreachable, no problems at all. ---------------- ** Wormhole Trading ** |

He's talking out of his rectal canal, you can't tak things out of other peoples hangers when you take over a 0.0 station. Other wise all my crap dotted around 0.0 would no longer me my crap. --

Really?
I thought rule #1 of contracts was "make sure you're buying a Charon, not a Carbon".

The only interaction other people can have with your hangar: a director of your corp can open your hangar, can view the contents, and put items inside the hangar. And he can only do that if the corp has offices there. [None] |

Isn't it possible to move a plex to anywhere from anywhere just by reverse redeeming it? (If you wanted to resell instead of using it.) Never needed to try it but can't you just return the plex to account, then go to where you want it and redeem it back to that station? Always wondered why people would lose a plex if it's possible to move them like that. Or do you have to be in station to reverse redeem it?

Short answer: NO
Long answer: nope, I tried this once and it didn't work. once it's redeemed or re-redeemed it will stay in that original first station it was redeemed the first time.

Plex have been made movable several months ago.
There was even a guy that undocked from Jita 4-4 during a war and got destroyed with more than one hundred plexes in his cargo bay.

Yeah, but that doesn't have anything to do with reverse-redeeming. Devil tiger's answer was correct.

72 plexes in an uncloaked Kestrel on-the-dock to Jita. There was a news article about it. During the war part is correct though.
