First problem, the print is too small. It's not blurry, it's just too tiny and I can barely see it without a magnifier (which is a pain using in this game, not to mention impractical). Any way to increase the text size to something more user friendly...or at least friendly to this particular user?
Second is a problem with character selection. I can only choose the Amarr male. He'ss the only choice I've made so far that didn't cause the a CTD. Thus I chose him...though I find it very interesting that we can't vary the physical attributes of the characters that much...particularly skin tone (or at least I can't). I've been reading the boards a bit and I've noticed a lot of issues with bugs and whatnot. Here's two more for the devs to work on.

Since several prople have read this post but none have responded, I have to guess that I'm the only one who has a hard time reading the text wnen it's not blurry...go figure.

Vector Sigman, I think the fonts are so small because you are using a very high reslolution. If you find the game unplayable due to this I recommend you to lower the resolution. I have not seen a control for the font size.
Don't use this board for posting bug reports. Use the correct place http://myeve.eve-online.com/bugreporting.asp. _________________________________________________________

I agree, text is way too small. I cannot play this game without wearing my glasses (and my site isnt even that bad.) Text option would be nice. Changing the resolution did nothing for me. And Im using a 19" monitor. =P Besides, why should we have to suffer for poor image quality to see the damn text?

Asking wether or not there's a way to increase the text size is not the same as reporting a bug. I don't believe that the text's current size was an error. Blurry text is an error, not the general smallness of the text. It's a feature I'd like to manipulate.
As far as resolution, I've been able to get the program working (with a warped view) at 800x600 using a 19" (around 17.5" viewable) monitor. The system requitrements call for a minimum of 1024x768. I tried this and the text gets blurry (unless i use a magnifier and I can barely make out the letters at that point). The text at 800x600 is larger than at the higher relolutions but I can still barely read it. I also don't believe that I would be able to play for any real length of time at 800x600 without the game having problems.

You are not using a TFT monitor are you? They have fixed resolutions causing a blurry effect if you use another resolution then the one intended. _________________________________________________________

No TFT monitor. I just have a hard time seeing small print (my eyes don't work as well as a normal perosn's eyes).

I don't believe that it is right that you should have to suffer with small sized fonts, so I hope that ccp will help you out soon,.. but, as a short term measure, you could download powertoys from microsoft. There is a tool that provides a magnified image (in the taskbar) of whats under the mouse cursor. If you play in windowed mode, you will be able to run your mouse cursor over text and read it in teh taskbar. Unfortunately I cant remember the link for it, or teh name of the specific tool.
Hope it provides at least a temporary solution for you. :)

I agree with the text being too small.
I just downloaded the 14 day trial demo and the one factor that turns me off big time is the text is way too small to read comfortably. Im using a 17" TFT monitor with a native 1280x1024 resolution.
If I switch to 1024x768 the text is easier to read, but its oh so ugly.
Please add a text size adjuster :)

Yes, the size is oo small... I've been plaing for around a year and can say so with free heart. Perhaps it can be filed as a bug/idea...

Hit escape, click generic tab, in the middle, choose the bottom choice Context menu font size 12.
It is a little better.
I do agree that the font size is way too small. It would be nice to run at a higher resolution then 1024, but anything bigger I just can't read the text

It's better to let sleeping dogs lie, same applies to Forum posts.
