or perhaps the tube child program is more necessary than the cluster is led to believe....

Hey doll, why don't you come back to my place. I'll tell you about how your physical beauty is moulding something strongly in me and you can tell me more about this tube child thing . . . over a couple glasses of red wine . . . |

One problem, I think, is the Caldari clothing. No style at all. As if designed by an engineer, for working inside a lab or space station air duct. You take an attractive person and put them in a dweeb suit, they're going to look bad. |

Caldari clothing has no problem. They are developed for functionality, they do not restrain your movements when you work or fight, and they maintain optimal temperature regime of your body (within given limits of outside temperature) with minimal weight and amount of materials used. |

I don't know, there's something about Caladri and Amarr men that's just so... I can't think of a word... Rugged maybe? Many Gallente can be rather... effeminate in their actions at times. And Minmattar men, well, I have nothing against them, but unfortunately just don't hugely send me.
That and Caldari have a habit of being more to the point and want a lot less work on my part, so that's easier money for me *wink*. |

Are you really that ignorant to EVE lore? "Aren't fighting for anything"... seriously, are you bloody blind to what's happening around you? Likewise, more importantly, why'd you post this here?
As for your opinion on aesthetics, it is of course how you feel and I can sympathize because I think the Minmatar are "UGLY!!!" as you put it.
From my point of view, Caldarians and the Caldari State in concept are an excellent marriage of 19th century Imperial Germany and modern day corporate Japan. A wonderful blend that I find attractive and chose to be my character's heritage and patriotism. The Caldari State, the government, works almost more like a feudal system where chunks of the State are owned and governed by various mega-corporations whom act as Lords over their lands. The mutual cooperation between the mega-corps exists under unique factors that while they sustain good relations they are also fiercely competitive.
It wasn't until Tibus Heth gained popular political leverage over the mega-corps during his worker-class rights coup of Caldari Constructions, his rise to power and the Gallente Federations heinous attempts at sabotaging the State's increasing stability and rejection to being the Federation's puppet nation. The Gallenteans already have the Minmatar "Republic" as their puppet nation. The State now more than ever is unified under one banner because almost all mega-corps pledged their allegiance to the State as it's benefactors and have place priority to that duty over their individual (the mega-corp's) needs.
Now...about that ugly, Caldari technology aesthetics is based around pure pragmatism, simplistic practicality. It is true, some of the ships are kind of unsightly but oddly, I find the frankness in design (and asymmetrics) to have an odd kind of attractiveness as the ships serve as a reminder that they we are in infinite vacuum of space where worldly physics don't play a part in design. Also, we don't have an ego to stroke like the Amarr Empire or the Gallente Federation.
Ivy Romanova wrote:So far... I have seen good Ammarians , with their high class elegance and religions theme zealot clothing and designs. I have seen stylish Gallantes with their french looking bedroom eyes and executive smart man and woman facial structures. I have seen the Minimartarians with their STRONG will determined gaze, strong square jaws and complex of raw power and struggle for freedom.
However.... I can't really connect with the Caldarians .. I mean.... they don't even have a theme , they aren't fighting for anything , they are just...well.... there.
Anyone feeling the same?

Sounds like something a mother would say to a child knowing they fell from the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
I personally like Caldarian features, good job really, but I guess we can always go for cosmetic surgery to re-sculpt where needed soonGäó

This is my first visit to this section.. and I don't know if I'm more depressed, disappointed, or disgruntled. But something with a D, without a doubt.
I think the Caldarians look fine.. I don't like how the Gallente look personally. Too.. boyish. |

A 12x36 wall carving within the Nifur catacombs, roughly dated AD 15000s. An Athran noble woman lounges, surrounded by hideous, deformed creatures who serve her. Early explorers thought it was an underworld scene with the creatures being demons she'd conquered. Study of the relief showed many of the creatures had logographs corresponding to that of other clan leaders. although my eyes were open they might have just as well've been closed
