I checked the Regional Average for almost all of the good stuff, and it is WAY lower than what people are always selling it for. For example, say something costs a few hundred thousand, somebody sells it for between a hundred million and a few hundred billion. What is going on? I will eventually not even be able to afford the smallest bit of tritanium if this keeps up. -- As an Amarr Defector, I chose to become a Mercenary and Industrialist. I also have one goal in mind: Create a new age of peace and prosperity for all four empires. |

There are many sell order for items at prices that are *1000 of the value of the item. This is people trying to scam, hoping that the buyer wont notice that there are three more zeros at the end of the price then there should be.

I think regional averages are based on buy orders which are usually far less than actual sell orders (market price).

Then you'd be thinking wrong. Regional averages are based ONLY on actual transactions, and not even all transactions, some of the "outliers" are pruned off. You can have a bajilion orders of any kind which never get processed, they won't ever affect the regional average one bit.

What is going on is that the region you're looking at has an abject dearth of supply for just about everything you looked at, and the only orders remaining up are those at outrageous prices nobody in their right mind would pay. I would strongly suggest EITHER getting out of that deadbeat region OR starting to fill up halfway decent sell orders while making a profit (that is, if anybody will ever buy those things at all in the first place, because it sounds like the region is almost deserted). _
