Yo, CCP, the Background image is pretty **** for a forum. I'd suggest something more simple (Hell, straight black is better tbh).
Here's what I'm using though;
Example.
Original image.
It's all opinion though; but I favour more basic backgrounds. I've set it to top left no-repeat fixed, but a larger version would be fairly easy to do and wouldn't require the fixedness.
Just my 2 pennies.

That aside, I hope the history of posts within the outgoing forums will be preserved.
Both issues should be simple enough to address. Make font size and avatar size a user setting and write a simple script to take an SQL dump from one forum and migrate it into the right fields on the other. It takes a little bit of work and some testing, but if they're familiar with the forum software at all, it could be done and tested in a couple days.
Ahahahahaha. Surely you jest, good sir. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

I'm making the assumption that they might have written their own forum software, but that may not be the case. A decade ago, I needed forum software to cater to about 100,000 members of my site with busy forums and didn't like the options out there. Too complex, yet not featured enough. It wouldn't be fun picking through them and understanding how the 94 tables and 400 fields are related. Plus, none of them really offered threaded conversations (I don't understand why this is missing in so many forums?!) -- so I wrote something from scratch. It was a little bit of work, but the benefit was that it fit in perfectly with the site (I hate sites that make you create a separate account to log into their forums) and I could manipulate the data however I wanted and port it elsewhere with a simple shell script, when necessary.
I'm a little worried that they're just putting a pretty CCP/EVE style theme on PHPBB or InfoBBS or something. *sigh*
The current forums are something they threw together quickly half a decade ago in-house; it's archaic and mostly unknown to them these days, hence the lack of Search Feature and them making "new" forums.
Believe it or not, the new forums are also supposedly in-house-developed. It's not phpbb/infobbs or anything at the core at all. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

Try logging in to the "Test-Server" version of Eve Gate, here: http://test.evegate.com/ and select a character. Selecting the character is an important part of this that is easy to overlook.
Wrong Password/Username error, whut?
You have either recently changes your account password, and the "Test-Server" data set is still using your old information, or your account is new, and it does not exist on the current "Test-Server" build, at which point there is really nothing that can be done. It is also possible that your account was Inactive, in which case you might want to go to this thread and ask for a reactivation on Sisi.
Simply use your older password.
Okay, i'm logged in there, what now?
Now click the "Forums" button beside the Evelopedia button. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

No, it still says it's an inactive account, when attempting to login.
Then as I also addressed, your account must have been inactive when the last Sisi mirror was taken. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008
