My Anti Blob Solution
New T3 ship - T3 Tactical Stealth Cruiser
Cruiser Size
Warp Cloaked/Fire Cloaked Only mountable weapon being a new Cloaked Nuclear Cruise Missile, give this a long range upto 200km but a slow ish speed and make it so once it comes within a certain distance it alerts all ships " Danger Incoming Tactical Cruise", as it will be the slowest missile in the game this will give them some time to GTFO, or try to :), this has AOE damage of course and should insta pop BC and below and leave remaining ships with systems failures from the EMP blast or some such, this can then say leave the ships imobile and with no shields for 30 seconds or so. I can see this being pretty fkin cool. Also these missiles have some system onboard making them untargetable by any anti missile technology and untargetable in general.
Obviously these missiles would have to be expensive say 100mill each , if not more, maybe even a T2 version where it is a cluster warhead where 4 of them will detonate equally spaced around the target.

Or just give us our Titan DD back???
Maybe a script for the DD so we can focus fire or AOE???
But I would have to buy a new titan if that was ever put back in place.

I could get behind a high slot item that made the ship self-destruct in a glorious fashion, and take the pod too!
But if you're going down that road... take it a step further. Give us an alternate item that does the same self-destruct... but decloaks every ship in the system.

I'd suggest another thing.
New module: Warp Bouncer. Slot: high CPU and PG need: high Range: a little more than Warp Disruptor's (a bit more for T2 Bouncer) Cycle: 10 seconds (a little less for T2 variation) Effect: at the end of cycle, forcibly warps the target to a random point within 100ae sphere at 25% the target's warp speed. (10% to 15% for T2 variations) Warp Strength: 1. (2 for T2). That means warp stabilizers can negate the effect.

Make it current direction of travel, then you can setup some funky traps.
Got enough people for 2 blobs, 1 at gate, one at a Safe spot towards Planet 1, get enemy to chase tackler, tackler heads towards planet 1, enemy ship follows, tackler then Warp bounces enemy into another bubble at Safe Spot with blob 2 waiting for them. :P

The whole purpose of this thing is exactly the random bounce, so it couldn't be used as a weapon, only as blob-breaker (bounce their tackler and set course laughing, for example).

I like the bouncer idea better. Your super torpedo is a little OP IMO.

Basically it sounds like the system wide "nuke em all" device crammed into a cruise missile. Not a bad idea. Break the blob up and make them fight individually.
Because that's where the real mettle is found.

i HAVE to bring this up. WE ALREADY HAVE NUKES havoc heavy missiles and devastator cruise missiles already are nukes. Plus projectile turrets have NUCLEAR ammo lol anyway idea is great and would be fun Agent texas is a bit of a badass |
