This is a secondary character on my account. I want to queue up skill for her to train when my main on this account finished his queue. Is there a reason I can't do this? It can't be that hard to implement. Simply make a check when a queue ends for other characters on the account, and apply their skill queue to the account queue.
Either that, or allow multiple characters to queue on a single account. But CCP won't do that because then we wouldn't have to have multiple accounts like we all have now.

By having automatically continuing queues of this nature, you are opening up the possibility for someone to essentially never 'waste' training time by being forgetful, since their trade alt or otherwise-useful-if-trained-up-alt could fill a few hours (or days?) worth of training while they 'forget' to train.
The 'solution' to this kind of dilemma exists already. If you foresee issues with your being able to log in in a few days' time, simply set your training for as long as possible for now and change it to something that ends in a very long skill before you would be unable to log in more. Until the ability to change skills using out-of-game methods becomes a reality, assuming it ever does, this is your best option in this regard. Besides all of this, you just might be reading my signature. |

There's already an easy solution to this. Pay for a second account.

What he wants isn't simultaneous training, he wants to be able to continue another character on the account's queue once the currently active queue finishes. Besides all of this, you just might be reading my signature. |

Here is the problem with the pay for a second accout reply.
I already have, this is a second account. I refuse to pay for a third account because CCP is just too lazy to implement something so simple.
And before anyone says you have to be punished if you forget your training times, are you kidding me? I have Aura on my phone, and EveMon on my computer. If you forget your training times, your ******ed. And quite frankly, punishing people for having no life is pretty sad.
My point stands, this is easy to implement, and there is no GOOD reason not to.

How do you know it's simple? ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Think of it like this:
You set your Queue to train one skill on ne character, then another on another character, and it just keeps going back and forth. Basically like an Alternatig Skill Queue -- I WANT MY TAX REFUND! |

Thats basically what I'm saying. In fact, that would probably be preferable to most people. It has built in drawbacks of requiring you to be careful in what you set, knowing that its going to take forever, and it allows you to not have to manually bounce back and forth constantly.

I don't see this as a bad thing, it could improve the game for folks. Its not like they'd both train same time, just one character finishes his queue and the game starts the second ones queue.
Thoughts expressed are mine and mine alone. They do not necessarily reflect my alliances thoughts.

1. add as many as 30 skills to the front of your queue that will total less than 24 hours 2. add a skill at the end of the queue that totals a few days, if not weeks 3. ??? 4. amazingly, you are able to go out and have a life without worrying about your skills!
It is you, op, that has no life if you are that concerned about your skills that you have evemon on your computer, aura on your phone and would be (lolstars) for forgetting to change your skills.
If people want to play an MMO and expect things to go how they want them to then they need to work for what they want and deal with it if things don't go as planned. Having automatically continuing skill queues means someone could quite literally set up 4 months worth of training between three characters on one account (or 9 if they set up lvl5 titan on each), sub up those accounts and mark their calendar, then forget about them until they're finished training (obviously still use them, but just forget about training)
By your logic, I should be allowed to queue up science or manufacturing jobs and have completed ones deliver for me automatically. I don't think so. |
