Tech II Afterburner/MWD capacitor needs changed to 10% more than Tech 1.? It should be the other way around.
I fail to see the logic in this....ALL tech II Items should require LESS CPU/POWERGRID/CAP USAGE then Tech I items as they are supposed to be BETTER then Tech I.
I mean isn't that the point of IMPROVING your Technology?
You guys don't seem to think things out. Why use Tech II ANYTING?
Tech II Guns use the same requirments to mount as Tech I? (250mm rail I vs Tech II 250mm Rail.) Only difference between them is a .4 Damage increase?
Characters that have been ingame for month or years that have taken the time to train skills to improve their combat effectivness should be rewarded not penalized. A 4 to 6 month old Character shouldn't even be ablt to mount tech II anything where as a character that has been in game for a long time should have the advantage if he has trained properly.

They say capacator, but i think they mean powergrid... well if not something has nerfed my perfect ship setup... i now dont have enough powergrid to fit my tech 2 ab on and have to use a named one now.....

Maybe I just don't get it. but it would seem to me that the progression of technology should make a module better....not the same or worse.
And it should be the same for the progression of characters as well. as you move up in tech and skills you should be alot better not just a LITTLE better.

They REDUCED Tech2 AB/MWD cap usage to 10% more than T1/Named. It was much greater before, this is actually a reduction. Conversely, they increased the powergrid requirements of T2 AB/MWD's quite a bit

Perhaps it is better because they increased the amount of energy that can be applied within it, thus, it draws more energy. The average palm pilot of today draws more power than a calculator of yesteryear, which is why you will not see a solar powered palm pilot, etc. ---

Well, I this is what I pulled off of the patch notes. Quote: Tech II Afterburner/MWD capacitor needs changed to 10% more than Tech 1.
So I guess they must have made an error when writting the patch notes?
I did some testing. What I found with a crow mounting a Cold Arc Jet. I had less CPU/PWRGRID Reqs and it cost 36 energy activate and I recieved a 630% Velocity increase
The Tech II 1MN MWD CPU/PWRGRID was double that of the named. And the power to activate was 40. the Velocity Speed Increase was 660%.....twice as much CPU/PWR for only 30%? still doesn't make that much sense to use tech II!

It is interesting to see that you only noticed this feature by now. The TechII modules are usually equivalent to the best named tech1 modules of their kind, just need some more powergrid/cpu/cap, so the best tl1 named stuff is usually better than the Tech2 one. Also more worthful. I personally think this is ok this way, I think tl2 modules should not make the best, rare tl1 named things completely worthless, as you can get tl2 stuff anywhere. You can buy an 1MN MWD2 on every corner while its not the same with the Cold Gas Arcjet. You might want to check out the named TL2 items. Those are the ones you should be comparing named TL1 items with.
