I just noticed that this toon was killed after I logged it last night. The kill apparently happened about the time I logged off. I was killed in in Iteron V.
The problem with this is that I can't fly an Iteron V, I only have Gallente Industrial 3. Furthermore, the ship I was flying, an Iteron 3, was docked in the ship bay of the pos where I was working. The Iteron was still there when I logged on again.
So I logged inside the force field of a pos, in my pod, as best I recall. And a few minutes later I was killed flying a ship that I can't fly yet. I know that something happened because I got an insurance payment at the time of the "kill" of the Iteron V.
I'm posting this in general discussion since I don't know what to make of it or where else to post it. Not a troll post, these are the true details. I don't want to post the link to the kill since the other part may be completely innocent if this is a game glitch.

ok if you owned the ship and it was floating in space then you egt th eisnurance, so maybe you assembeld one and someoen else was using it (not sure that works) or you assembled one someoen had it in cargo bay and it poped out ect or you dumped it some place in sapce once by ejecting it

Apperently it is an api varified kill of an empty ittie 5. And you lost an ittie 3 a little later.
Make a petition, if it is as you say that you cant even fly it then the GMs should be able to fix that.

I am sure you don't have to fly a ship to be able to assemble it.

There was no Iteron V in pos for me to assemble or launch. But I did deliver one to a neighbor, so it might have been that one. I had not thought about that. (I launched it from my carrier after assembling it.) It probably got ejected from force field at my neighbor's pos.
That's the first problem I ever had solved on the forum without at least one snarky comment. Thanks.
