The use of the term "grey-market" suggests Anshar Inc. is trading in legal commodities, but uses unofficial supply routes or pays it's workers "under the table" to avoid the applicable taxation, perhaps as a snub to the authorities you denounce as particularly responsible for the situation in the region. But, isn't this actually an attempt to mislead and bend the facts?
No, it isn't. Could you perhaps tell us how you've come to this conclusion?
Originally by: Bataav In fact aren't Anshar Inc. dealing in black-market goods? Local advertising across Intaki and neighbouring systems as deployed by Anshar Inc. reveal that the good sold are illegal narcotics. Now some might see only a subtle difference between "black-" and "grey-marketeering", but isn't it true that while there may be some locals might be tempted to bend the rules a little here and there to save some money where they can, the majority of law abiding citizens would take issue with drug trafficking?
What you and various other authorities perceive to be 'illegal' isn't really relevant. I firmly believe that there are no issues with the non-Synth Booster market as long as sales and distribution are regulated. Many of the side-effects of Standard and Narcotics-grade Boosters are overblown. I'd also argue that people getting themselves addicted to such substances are doing so at their own risk. Why deny people the option of using something that, in moderation, can enhance the lives of many?

I also understand that Anshar Inc. has no manufacturing facilities within the Intaki system and so any commodities sold by the corporation, such as the narcotics already mentioned, will be imported from outside. Therefore, is it not true that any revenue and resulting profits will actually benefit those outside Intaki?
Unfortunately I can neither conform nor deny this statement at the present time. However, we hire a large number of people to run our local offices, station-side warehouses and distribution centers. ---
