I think you will find a lot of ppl that dont work or cant work play eve at this time of day and its allways been UK that gets had over with updates and crap

I for one am happy that CCP are trying to fix issues. Good for you. Try going out with large groups of other players sometime instead of just solo-ing an MMO. Fortunately, the game does not revolve around your limited experience.

Wouldn't that be support for the 'missiles-cause-lag' theory?
