Theyre slow but they got the shield and armor of a cruiser. |

Funny, it has stats almost like for tech.2 Ogre drone but is called Hellhound I ... maybe it's a 'named' tech.1 drone thingie o,O

Heh. Wierd. There is a Hellhound FOF missile too, so I suspect the name is a placeholder. Also, that thing is wayyyy messed up for a drone. It has almost 10x the shield of an Ogre, somewhere around what you'd see on a Caracal. Either these values are all placeholders, or someone has been spending too much time in Photoshop.
Edit- I don't see it anywhere on the market either...

I didn't photoshop... you'd have to be really pathetic to fake an item (notice the alpha transparency)

I have seen two or three other people who have got these drones since EXODUS. I take it advanced drones are another half assed feature that will get properly implemented in six months time.

I don't think that kind of drone will be on sale freely.
I mean it's an awsome drone, but somehow it seems a little weird that it is about five times as tough as an ogre and does more damage while being just as fast and not even considerably bigger.

Ok so named weapons get up to 20% more damage, these drones have 20% more than the tech I right ? so falls in line with being named there.
I reckon the extra HP is because these things will be relatively rare and it would thus suck to lose them easily 
.

I had up one of these as a loot drop from a cruiser in a 4/10 complex. Since I can't use heavy drones yet I didn't pick it up (plus it was huge for my cruiser cargo hold and I would have had to jettison some other stuff). Wish I would have picked it up now. I just saw heavy drone and left it.
**EDIT** I just noticed it has 0 shield resists though...

hmm didn't know cool drones like that exist..  .. why not give drone-ships like typhoon and dominix a drone repair equipment? so they can repair their main weapon... cool idea huh?

I've heard you can use remote armour repairers to do that. Never tried it though.

I tried repairing a drone with a remote armor repairer a while ago, didn't work.

You can repair drones with remote armor repairer, but thats only armor, if there is structure damage you need a base.

I tried last week and it targetted the drone and displayed the effect properly, but didn't actually repair the drone's armour. It was an ogre.
