Ok so now I think instead of 50k put it to 100k of free SP for pure lack of honesty from CCP.
Now its 12.30 UTC after that it will 1pm UTC after that I forsee 3pm UTC

CCP This is becoming stupid... This is closer to the last "extended downtime" than usual ...
I'm normally understanding but having downtime everyday is bad enough compared to other mmo's that dont need to pull the servers down at all for downtime... I agree with the majority, refund of some sort be it Skillpoints or RL Gametime please... Not like your profits are small is it really, come on CCP...

This nonesense is exactly why I voted for Seleene for CSM.
They won't be able to pull the wool over his eyes with generic flannel like "start up issues" He'll know the truth, that it's likely someone messed up behind the scenes.

Your server startup system sucks balls. Have you considered, that it might be better to use a system that isn't so committed to sucking balls at regular intervals?

Let CCP keep the SP. They can RMT them and perhaps buy some equipment/hire some personell that actually makes the server run without extended DT's every other day.
I have no problem with the extended DT's for implementing patches(thumbs up to CCP for patching as often as they can), but this is starting to become a bit redicolous.
Especially since they had an extended DT to make the startup more reliable...yesterday!!

C'mon guys. CCP has scr*w*d up on occasion in the past but this does not really warrant all the hysterics in the thread. It's a complex piece of software, it's bound to break sometimes, and clusters failing to come up as they should at boot is about as unusual as the Italian prime minister bonking an underage dancer (is "bonking" an accepted word on the forums?)
On the other hand, 100k free SP would be nice, so CPP, give! or I'll cancel my 748 accounts, like, NOW!!1!eleven!!!

The worst part is the website often tanks while TQ is having these issues, too.
It's like nobody in all these years has thought that maybe it's a bad idea to have the website people look to for info about problems be dependent upon the same infrastructure that's involved in those problems.
Imagine if a check engine light in a car required the engine to be in perfect working order, or it wouldn't function. Yeah...

I really, really am not one to whine but its getting a little annoying now... I'm normally a GMT - night shift worker, but the second i get back onto days and am actually awake for downtime on my days off, its extended every time :S
