Give everyone 3 months to find a corporation then make them form their own corporation in order to remain in business. 90 days should be long enough for someone to find a corporation they can work with, or make enough money to create your own. People use Newb corps as a shield to protect themselves from "The Game" and to exploit Alt Repping in combat etc. Take away their pilot license and make them stay docked until they form a corp of their own if they can't find any friends to take them. No man ever got killed by his wife while giving her a footrub. Rubbing someone elses wife's feet, well... *Fill in the blank* |

What's wrong with NPC corps, people can protect themselves from "The Game" and to exploit Alt Repping in combat as well if they just go corp hopping. Limiting NPC corp membership doesn't solve your problems.

In case you havn't heard, remaining in an npc corp is a perfectly valid tactic to avoid war decs. Leaving a player corp and joining an npc corp to avoid a war dec is another perfectly valid tactic. Having neutrals rring you is another valid tactic.

Aw, did somebody just outsmart you instead of playing the game by your rules, and now you can't wardec them? Boo-hoo.

Please forgive me if you think I was whining. I was looking for a discussion and perhaps some suggestions. I am sorry if you misunderstood my intentions. I surely meant you no disrespect.
Newb Corps are a great place for Bots to hang out, immune forever to wardec. We who actually "play" the game instead of exploit it would then be able to wardec some of these Bot's, if they and their ilk were forced to join corps or form their own, etc. We could help clean the game up a little, i.e. make it a more respectable place for our family and friends to play.

Or they could find a good corporation. There are a lot of them out there. I realize some people have a hard time making friends, but wouldn't it be nice if they crawled out of their shell a little and made an effort to be social? Hulkageddon. No wardec required. And nothing is stopping the bot from leaving for the fail hold over corp in the interm of a wardec. You suggetion solved nothing, the simplest method of breaking down EVE is point and click you guns at them while assuming you are going to loose to CONCORD. EVE has no respectable community (it is a sandbox, you can be what you want), you cannot trust anyone and a valid reason why I do not care to make a player corp because they have 2 million to burn on a cheap wardec when all their PVP can be for free in lowsec. So, continue to cry tears that newb corps are killing the game and ruining it for you while failing to understand the game is what you make it by hitting the F1 key to activate you guns without a wardec and if a little sec loss is to much then WoW is --->>

Membership in a player corp is not a pre-requisite to being social. Some players are very social without ever being in a player corp. There is no logical link between the two.
And, as pointed out above you can kill anyone you see in space. It doesn't matter whether they're in a an NPC corp or not.
Now...if you just want to make it cheaper/easier for you to kill people in NPC corps...then nah...ain't gonna happen.

Valid point about the holdover corp. I guess I just wish it were easier to kill Bots. If that is what Hulkageddon was all about then I am all for it becoming a regular event. I personally think that the people hiding in newb corps would enjoy being killed. They just need to take that first step into the big dangerous scary world and they would begin to know the freedom that can be found in being killed. OP, you are so full of crap it makes a manure stand at a farmer's market look poor.
By essentially forcing people to play the way you want, you look like a complete jackass. Why on earth would you want to force people who are essentially happy in their one-man-band corps to join up with other people when they don't want to? By paying their subscription fee , they have as much right as any other to play the game within the limits as presented by CCP. In case you missed it, there have already been moves to gimp NPC corp members of late, what with the tax hike. Don't make them kick people out just because the only experience they've had with player corps are fatcat CEOs skimming taxes from the corp wallet, inane and wasteful drama queens, and 'jack of all trades' corp mission statements that generally mean **** all.
If it was a choice between those evils and playing and enjoying the game solo, I know which one I'd choose.

Getting rid of NPC corps wouldn't prevent anyone half way canny from just forming their own 1 member corp (less than a days skills needed) or hopping between player created shell corps or something.
I actually think it would hinder the social game... I have one or two alts that I never bothered to switch into shell coprs i made and I can see there are pretty active conversations in a number of those npc corp chats. Eliminating the NPC corps would push a lot of players just into places they'd have that much less interaction.
In principle, I'm definitely in favor of ways to Encourage people to find other players to cooperate with and the shared identity of belonging to a real player corp does streghnthen bonds between players . Instituting the NPC corp tax to make it so there wasn't as much a reason to stay in NPC corps was a good idea. Elimnating them entirely though really doesn't accomplish any of your aims

I said nothing about one man corps. I believe your self consciousness is showing a bit. Sorry to have "outted" you. Please continue soloing all you want. I am talking about NPC corps.
And I think it is essential to your personal growth for you to embrace your fears, master them, and become empowered thereby. Why do you fear the darknesss? Because it is dark. It is scary. I say, throw your fears asside, join humanity in all it's glory. Come out and let someone kill you. Kill a friend. Kill a stranger. There are enough good corps out there that will not skim you, scam you, or use you. Look around you. They are everywhere. Isn't it lonely in that little place you are calling home? There are literally hundreds of player corps almost completely comprised of bots that you can wardec. The only problem is that they are in low- and null-sec, areas you evidently are too scared to go to.
The truth of the matter is that trying to address only high-sec botting is a waste of time, as there are far fewer of them there than in the large alliances out in lol-sec. Your 'idea' is nothing more than a request to make your non-consensual PvP experiences easier and less costly to you.
Good luck trying to successfully resurrect this old and dealt-with idea.

CCP has said many times that the wardec feature is aimed at organizations not individuals. The only reason for this suggestion is to aim it at individuals.
Everytime I see this topic I think of someone with an Internets Stalkers issue.

I would like to see limits on what your able to fly in noob corps.
Like a trial account wont let you train certain skills. I think newb corp pilots should be banned from flying the meta game crap. Like freighters
If they can fly a freighter...they in no way should be in a noob corp. 5 minutes would give them there own corp.

As I said before: what's wrong with NPC corps, people can protect themselves from "The Game" and to exploit Alt Repping in combat as well if they just go corp hopping. Limiting NPC corp membership doesn't solve any of your issues.
