Hi!
Singularity is updated now to the correct build for today's mass test and a new mirror is being deployed at the moment, but there are a few minor problems:
Patching: Some of the patches are not available: Windows: Just use Sisi Launcher. It should work without problems. Windows, manually: Either use the full installer or the generic patcher to patch a copy of the TQ client (ignore the wrong name). Macintosh: Either use the full installer or the generic patcher to patch a copy of the TQ client (ignore the wrong name). Warning: The patches are quite large (~ 1.5 GB)
Known issues: * Default overview settings are missing - Workaround: Export overview settings on TQ and import them on Sisi; otherwise you can just setup new overview settings * NPCs have white overview icons, don't show up in "selected item" or "show info" and throw errors in logserver like no tomorrow - Workaround: Avoid NPCs, don't use logserver

Could you touch on the New Duality test server that got added to wikipedia. When do you expect to start using it for mass tests and if there will be a duality launcher?

Deleted my SISI client, copied over a TQ client, tried the "generic patcher" method, after 10mins of checking and verifing it decides it wants to download the whole client (not just the 1.5gb) so abandoned that.
Deleted that SISI client, copied over a TQ client, tried SISI launcher, same thing, 10 mins of checking and verifing and then "downloading 6.7gb" .. full client ...
If this new patching method goes to TQ I'll end up tearing my hair out (what little I have left)

Hi,
We would greatly appreciate if you could file a bug report about this, please include screenshots and a log which can be found here: C:\ProgramData\CCP\EVE\generic_patch.log
When you're done please post the bug report ID here and we will look into this issue straight away.

30 mins of checking files and it still wants to download 2 gig of updates. sisi launcher doesnt work or wants to download the full client again. 2 hours to set up sisi for a 1 hour test seems a bit silly

Is the test gonna be delayed for a little while, to let others download the update, or start at normal time?

I like to attend the mass tests, but next time if possible, could you alert us a little earlier when there is a big patch like this one, please. Sadly still a few people out there with a slow connection

My Singularity client regularly gets FUBARed by patches, last time in October. I finally have a decently fast ISP now so I gave this download another go to test the new CC. I try on two tattoos before the client goes unresponsive and I have to restart. I also noticed that it installed over my Tranquility client despite me installing in a custom location. PRO-FESSIONAL! And now that I got the SiSi client up again, my character is no longer flagged for editing so I have to file a petition now, too. I'm not really going to bother though, because this is way too much effort for a paying customer to have to muster. I'll just see it when it hits Tranq in the same sorry state it is now. Haven't you guys always wondered why practically nobody shows up for mass tests? Your development team is probably one of the most shamefully inept on the planet. Do you take any amount of twisted pride in this?
