5 mill is to high of a increase for tech 1 bpo's 1 mill is reasonable and 1 isk isn't.

You are correct, 5 mil is too high. But what sucks is the auction went like this:
1 Mil bid increase, oh look there are a few bids, let's make them jump up real high, I'll change the minimum bid to 5 Million, wee hee. Oh look, all the bids went up by 5 Mil, now let's see if we can squeeze a few more mil out of each one by lowering the minimum bid, wee hee.
Classic bait and switch scam. This auction is a scam, plain and simple.

No, you didn't offend me, you are playing by the rules that are changed on a minute by minute basis apparently. The seller offends me greatly however, I would not have raised the bid from 40 to 45 million had the minimum bid not been 5 million. I would check the print out very carefully before I took it off escrow if I were you, if a seller will scam a seller will scam...

Sorry for the confusion and grief caused by me changing the rules at the beginning. It started out as 1m for all, i then thought that was a bit small. I changed it to 5m but then I though 5m was a bit much for the lower end BPOs, so I changed it to what it is now.
As i said this is my first auction I have learned a lot from it, so hopefully will go smoother next time.
The caracal & blackbird bids were the only ones effected by the changes in the way you say is "by scamming", im open to suggests on how to reslove it, be it reset those 2 and extend them another day.

well if he agrees or doesnt bid than ill stay at 47 untill someone else bids. but if he want to go the 5 mill bid rule ill change my bid from 47 to 50 to meet the required 5 mill rule

Uh no, I am out. I just can't see going on with this. Don't be surprised when the minimum bid changes to 500k and the auction is extended another day.
Changing the rules in the middle of an auction is bad business. This is a scam no matter what you want to call it. I would have never bid 45 mil when I did had the minimum bid increase not been 5 mil. You changed the minimum bid to try and get more bids in. You changed the rules in the middle of an auction, that's a scam.
Already you're talking about changing the rules again. Just leave things where they are and sell your prints. If you should ever have an auction again, stick by the rules you set forth when you make the auction. If you see they were a bad idea, learn from them by changing the rules on your next auction, not the one that is currently running.

Thanks for the feedback, Sorry you felt hard done by on this one. The date has never changed, only the minimum bid amount, as it does on ebay (only mine went down not up  ) But that was only because as this is my first time, i didnt feel happy about having such a small bid increase to start with. |
