according to Australian Radiation Services
and call me a pessimist but when Quote: One expert said the explosion was "clearly a serious situation," but may not be related to problems inside the plant's nuclear reactor.
- then that means for me that it's already FUBAR. (sounds exactly the same what the government said about the Chernobyl) ________________________________ ACXtreme @ deviantart |

one of the pluses in this case vs Chernobyl is that the fuel in these reactors has a half-life of only 3 days. ________________________________ ACXtreme @ deviantart |

I don't think this will evolve further. Rods in all reactors were exposed, radiation already broke out, all of the reactors were FUBAR'ed with corrosive seawater and most of them blew up...
unless they plan to set a fire under them, they will just cool down as the heat escapes. And then the citizens will be allowed to return to homes except for ppl who live in a 10km zone, it'll prolly take a month for them. ...unless a new disaster hits, in which case we can just cross Japan off the map (and I'm not trying to be funny) ________________________________ ACXtreme @ deviantart |

Edited by: Cpt Advile on 15/03/2011 18:22:40 I hope this isn't another pre-shock like the 7.2 one, 1day before the 9.0 one. Seriously, it was said that another even bigger quake might follow soon because the whole stress wasn't released 100% with the 9.0 quake.
My main question is, I believe in karma and how everything happens for a reason, but what could be the reason for such torment on Japanese people? All I could condemn are their crazy semi-sick/fetish TVshows, but otherwise they seemed to be highly collective and more or less spiritual people more or less. Or is it a wake-up call for the rest of the world to start thinking and acting more positively?

Edited by: Cpt Advile on 15/03/2011 22:37:40 some of the karma laws state that parents unfinished business (karma-debt) goes on to their children, but seriously I don't think it's about that. It seems more and more like a general example for the rest of the world. Big disasters promote unity.
In another news: A fire has been found in the northeastern corner of Reactor 4 building at Fukushima Daiichi plant
