I know everbody in here despite the big bad online personalities is probably ok in real life ( I hope)
Japan just got slammed with a huge blow to everything they are.. Could CCP please set up a PLEX For Japan so we in game can show our support for those people.

EDIT: I'm not cold hearted or anything, or unsympathetic to the plight of the Japanese people. However, if you want to help, there are much better places to donate your money than do a plex drive through CCP. If you really want to help, get off your ass and go over there (if they'll let you help directly like that).

But..........Japan is one of the richest most advanced countries on earth 
Theyve had dozens of earthquakes before and..........they're still one of the richest countries on earth.
Plex for the starving in Africa would make more sense.

Actually, no they're not. Their debt is about 200% of GDP at the moment. They are broker than broke.

I guarantee that many of the people posting these threads have invested heavily in PLEX and are taking advantage of the plight of the Japanese people just to make ISK in a stupid video game. I would urge CCP to look into every single person posting these threads. Any account linked to those characters who has recently bought a lot of PLEX should be severely punished for exploiting real-life tragedy for gain in Eve.

Your right about their true intentions but there is no need to complain about it to CCP, as they them self take advantage of the plex system in similar ways.

Honestly do we really need ANOTHER thread about this. Everyone knows by now that Japan was hit bad, and are in bad shape. However Japan is also a country that is rich enough that it can support its own relief effort. As well as the normal relief organizations and UN support. The CCP Plex effort was originated to help support disaster relief for countries who couldn't support their own relief, like Haiti.
