I read somewhere... Can't find it now unfortunately..
That doing Interbus and Sisters of Eve mission could raise all 4 empire factions.
I have been doing Interbus missions but I have yet to notice any difference in empire factions.
Can anyone confirm if doing these mission does indeed raise all four Empire factions?

Interbus raises all four, not sure that Sisters of Eve does (don't think they're positive to Amarr ?).
But anyway, as with all missions, faction standing is only raised by important missions, so won't raise from most of the missions you are doing. I haven't worked for interbus since the Exodus patch, but I seem to remember a post mentioning there was a problem with the important missions for Interbus. The problem is, Interbus faction only has one corp, Interbus. Usually the important missions are given for a different corp in the same faction, but Interbus has no different corps 
I'm afraid I don't know if Interbus is 'working' in this respect or not. If you're not being offered storyline missions, then I would assume not.

Only important missions give you faction standing.

Important missions for Interbus dish out posetive standing to all empire factions. I dont know if Interbus dish out any storyline missions though, havent done any missions for Interbus since before exodus.
Sisters of EVE, doesnt give any posetive standing to Caldari nor Amarr though. They used to, but that changed after Castor afaik.

Is there a corp that can raise pirate factions? Through excessive use of Minmatar agents, I have a -2 standing with the angels, which I wuold like to fix, if possible. I think I read somewhere that they don't shoot on site until -5, but that you can't get an agent with less than -1, so is there any way to effect the standings enough to get one? Also, will running missions for one pirate faction reduce the standings of other factions, or should I try guristas or something to push up angels?

i don't know if running missions for gurista (or any other pirate faction for that matter) will raise you angel standings. your best bet is to train diplomacy up.

The -5 shoot on sight thing is only for empire regions and powers AFAIK. Angels will shoot you on sight, good standing or not.
