Ok why is caracal giving 5% bonus to hybrids!! its a MISSLE BOAT give it same bonus as Raven Does 5% bonus to missle ROF per level. or something along those lines why the hell would I use Turrets on a Missle Boat? if you agree please feel free to Flame!

Because the caracal has 2 turrets.
The people in my corp put 250's on those, and do respectable damage. I mean it's not like they're gonna go empty.
THis is not saying however, that the Missile ROF bonus wouldn't be better, but the bonus to hybrids IS useful.

It's a Caldari ship, ALL caldari ships get a 5% bonus to hybred range. It's a "race" thing rather than a ship bonus.

Not true. The Kestrel (Caldari missile boat/EW frigate) has +10% to targeting range as its bonus, as one example. I agree with the original poster; while the hybrid damage bonus may not be useless, it does seem rather inappropriate for a missile-heavy ship.

And, if you're using the two turrets, you can't use all your missile slots.
And where's the fun in that? :>)
Seriously though, the turrets on a caracel aren't worth a bonus and it makes no sense, even if the other caldari cruisers (and most of their frigs) get that bonus. The missile frigate doesn't, why should the missile cruiser?

You have to pick one or the other. You shouldn't be able to put the best missiles AND the best hybrids on the same ship. What I would do is put 2 good long range hybrids and some missile racks with FoF missiles. That way I could prtect my buddies.

yeah 2 turrets are hardly worth the bonus. Id rather have a missle ROF addon a a Missle Velocity or dmg or something! not just a useless Hybrid mod!
