Sorry, but no, and now the path to PB is more dangerous than before. It's probably more dangerous now than it was when you left (if you were down there previously).
If you're in a bind to get to 0.0 space I would recommend checking out one of the less volatile regions.

Yes, for now the war in PB is over, and PB region is safe to return to, when you are in the right foot with Shinra that is.
Fountain Alliance pulled out of PB, most PBL members are now FA-Trialists.
Only getting in and out might be tricky for some.

PB = Period Basis.
Or am I wrong in being confused.

Unfortunatley this is true, you have to move through the disputed Querious or Delve to get to PB. However once you get here there is plentiful ore and NPCs, anmd not a pirate in sight.

i'm still a good friend. And i joined PBL because i still have faith in the free space (remember?!).
no matter the way you see it the truth is still the same: shinra attacked us and invaded our home. You guys will act in the same way as we are doing if it were for your home...

berge, you are the ones attacking miners down in PB, thats some real nice Free Space.
Berge's corp still claims to be fighting in PB, although until we actually get atacked, that remains to be seen.
PB is much much safer than most of ther 0.0 regions right now.

The refining taxes under Shinra a lower than under FA and Shinra unlike the FA are active in the region (judging FA by what they have done in PB over the last year, not the last few weeks).

meh, when will people understand as someone wants a piece of land there is nothing called free space... Someone (in this case Shinra) are nice enough to let you use their land. If you dont like it do something about it or go somewhere else.

We charge those who aren't in our database to be exempt, much like how Shinra acts to those who haven't contacted you to get their standings set correctly. Those corporations belonging to PBL that were correctly input into our database never had to pay. Our database has no knowledge of a PBL "whitelist" that I've seen mentioned.. and as such means nothing to FA.
I rather think that FA's version is much less damaging than Shinra's, but hey... we are the good guys everyone is fond of demonizing these days :)

Hmm if you think you are the good guys, look at the territorial map and count your friends. I count.... 1. The same one that is under attack by SE.
And dont start calling Xetic and SE your friends, because we all know better. The only reason the nap between SE - FA excists is because both alliances are scared for a long or everlasting vendetta. Xetic has a nap with FA because they just have to.
On the other hand, count the Friends who Shinra has... Hmm that would be EVERY alliance on the map, except for 2 FA and FIX !

Being the minority doesn't make you bad. I'd say quite the opposite that it shows a great amount of self control and moral stability to allow your RL morals to carry over into games. It's much easier to "roll over" the weak just because you can, or just because it is fun, regardless of the detriment to the "weak" persons gameplay.
