Ignore the previous troll.
What region are you wanting to mine in (or does that not matter)?
Are you a member of a player run corp?

Or, you may contact me via EVEmail and I can offer further HELPFUL suggestions. (No offense to the trolls )

According to linkage you are offering 72.8 per m3 which does not state which ore & 2 mil for a full can which is aprox 27k m3
Now lets look at one of the cheap rocks e.g veldspar 1 unit of veldspar = 0.1 m3 average jita price of veldspar 9.8isk = 1 m3 - 98 isk of normal veldspar.
The price per m3 does not or has not explain other ore types which are more valuable or the named types which have a greater yield 5% , 10% extra.
Ya ripping some noob off, who doesn't know the value of what he is mining.

The price per m3 is calculated based on local regional prices and is updated before every op. Savoian makes a tiny sliver of profit from this enterprise, and considering he pilots an almost perfect skill Orca with gang links, he is entitled to a share of the isk. He is boosting every fleet member's yield by a considerable amount, meaning that over the duration of the mining op, each player stands to make roughly the same isk as he could by mining solo in the same time period and selling at Jita prices. If I may interject, I mined for a straight hour yesterday and I filled two cans by myself. Once I pull the ore out of the can with the hauler and refine it down my total mineral amount in terms of isk was around 7 mil isk. 3.5 mil per can, I would be paying you about a 45% split. Im not completely sure how much a hauler usually gets but I think ill just haul myself. Correct me if im wrong :).

The fleets will continue to operate, neither Savoian or the participating miners making any more isk than they would on their own. Seeing how it is neutral, isk wise, I fail to see the problem.
All the sceptics are more than welcome to remain all on their own, mining and hauling with an alt.
The rest of us will enjoy chatting in fleet, making new contacts for the future and being banded together to deter flippers.

Allow me to clear up an apparent misconception. The thread I linked to is not mine. I provided the link as an option for the OP.

When I was doing research on the best way of conducting mining operations for my corp (as well as industry as a whole) it seemed the simplest and most effective solution was to simply pay our miners a better than market buy price for their ore. We simply go half way between buy order and sell order price, so our miners effectively get more isk from selling to us than if they sold directly onto the market. Of course they could earn more isk by putting their ore onto a sell order, but then there are costs to be factored in as well as the 0.1isk war. We feel our policy is as fair as you can get and it benefits both the corp and the miner. I do however agree with the point made regarding the Orca pilot being included in the share; this is standard practice. On a large mining operation all Orca's/haulers are calculated as a fully contributing miner. Not only do they provide bonuses but they also do the manual work of shifting the ore from the belt, which in itself increases the amount of ore being mined.
My corp however does not do this with our Orca's; the corp itself owns several and so me and my mining director pretty much run the ops for no benefit to ourselves but rather as a free corp service to our miners. When participating with our Alliance on one of their very large mining ops (6+ orcas, 30+ hulks) however they do include Orcas/haulers in the calculation.

some people on this thread seem to be forgetting one simple calculation here:
yes you're being paid the same amount per unit as if you were mining alone...but with the Orca Bonus, you're getting more volume per hour than you would alone. therefore, even though the value of the ore isnt going up, the volume per hour is!
and yes, an open mining op like this is good for a few other things:
meeting new people making friends networking
need i say more?
