The Keiretsu wish to announce the dawning of a new era for the Great Wildlands region and for the Minmatar tribes. Long has this region been a battleground of conflicting interests with many true Matari warriors barred from their traditional testing grounds as the explosive growth of the non-Empire alliances closed the space to free travel. The Great Wildlands should be a place where combat skills and strategy can be put to the test against the harsh and lonely environment, the swarms of the Angel cartel, and the nomadic pirates that scavenge on the key routes through the region. It should be a fortress within which the Matari freedom fighters can prepare and plan, a base from where they can launch their assaults against the evils of the slave trade and bring justice to those such as the Curatores Veritatis Alliance who would threaten the freedom of all Matari. It should also be a place of safety where those rescued from the evil clutches of slavery can find peace and take the first steps in their new lives as free Matari.
In a break from the ways of the old Curse Alliance, The Keiretsu has chosen to provide controlled access to the Great Wildlands region to those corporations that demonstrate their commitment to the cause of freedom for all Matari and against the slave trade and those who practise it.áThe Keiretsu will police the borders of this Thukker Tribe ownedáregion, turning back those whose hearts are not true to the Matari cause and guarding the safety of those who fight for freedom and justice. Corporations granted access to Great Wildlands will be asked to respect an agreed code of behaviour while within this region and will be expected to assist in its defence against hostile and unwelcome incursions. This will not, however, extend to involvement in any conflict between The Keiretsu and The Foundation, which is considered an internal matter for these two alliances.
Corporations that are part of the Matari freedom fight and wish to gain access to Great Wildlands should contact the Minmatar freedom alliance UshraÆKhan. As the leaders in the fight against slavery UshraÆKhan will identify those corporations that form part of the fight for freedom and will provide The Keiretsu with a list of those which should be given controlled access to this Matari heartland. Any corporation that arrives in Great Wildlands without due notice and approval by UshraÆKhan will be considered potential slavers or sympathisers and will be turned back by force if necessary.
This is a great day for the Great Wildlands, and for the fight against slavery. This region will now be a controlled resource that all true Matari can aspire to access and where a new age of prosperity can be born. We look forward to peace and prosperity for our friends and death and destruction for our enemies. |

In these darkest of days for the Matari, the Ushra'Khan give thanks that our brethren still recognise the ties of kith & kin. The Republic cannot offer safe haven to the people we free but alongside our brothers of the Thukker Tribe we hope to provide a new home for our people, free from tyranny and corruption. With assistance, our freed kin may together rebuild their lives anew and finally find the peace owed to them, and in doing so honour the fallen who strived to set us free. Ushra'khan will work with all residents of GW to keep the region free from those that attempt to bring chaos to the region and destroy the peace that our people so deserve.
The Ushra'Khan's mission is far from over, it has only just begun, it began the day the skies turned black and fire reigned from the heavens, it began with the Rebellion and will end with the fall of the Amarrian regime to herald a new age of free will for all people. We will not forget our people, and we in forging these new oaths & bonds find a new home for our people amongst the stars while our raiders work tirelessly in and around Amarr to keep the enemy at bay.

I give my thanks to The Keiretsu for their wisdom and vision in this matter. Long has our Thukkar brothers been isolated from us, now stability is being brought to a once war torn region. It is great news indeed.
Either free the slaves or we will come and get them.

To the slavers and people who endorse it.
CORE, a member of The Keiretsu, is repulsed by the sheer thought of slavery. We will defend any freedom fighters of the Matari and we will come down on slavers with a vengance never seen before in this conflict.
CORE is the combination of many races, bloodlines and families - but all with the common thought that slavery must end NOW and we will use any force we deem necesary. We are untraditional in our terror and we WILL be coming - so keep an eye on all blips on the radar as any no matter type, class or race, might be gunning for you if you endorse slavery.

Long have I waited for this day when the once forbidden lands of Great Wildlands would play host to their rightful owners. We of the Keiretsu hope to facilitate safe passage and nurture the growth of all true Minmatar tribes. We of the Keiretsu will do our best to purge the land of hostile forces and where necessary we will use deadly force, both defensive and offensive to ensure that the threat of slavery and intolerance and greed never again casts a shadow over the Great Wildlands.
Minmatar tribes should seek an audience with Ushra'Khan before attempting to enter Great Wildlands. They will be able to provide you with a charter to which you must adhere and Keiretsu will set positive standings to all such tribes forwarded to us by Ushra'Khan.

This is a day I thought I'd never see, since I watched an old man's dream turn to blood and ashes, and took my leave of the Great Wildlands. Now we see the triumph of reasonable men once more. Let us hope this time that the dream survives to become more than a fleeting reality.

As always the Amarr must deride that which they know they cannot achieve. Even within the ranks of their own people they lack the unity of purpose necessary for true greatness, rather they cling to the shadow of former glories but the tighter they close their grip the more of their empire slips away through their fingers. The people of the Minmatar may support different methods but we are all united in one single goal, the freedom of our brothers and sisters viciously enslaved by this race of brutal oppressors. You may have benefited from the weakness of the Minmatar Republic, their fleet may have stood idly by while you paraded your arrogance through their space, but The Keiretsu will have no such restrictions. You boast of your ability to patrol Pator at will? Our heart and home lies in the Great Wildlands and I challenge you to flaunt your egos there. Our warriors need prey upon which to feast and you will do as well as the next. - - - I prefer the "reconnaisance by fire" approach to negotiation.

No Discorporation - we would never stoop that low
To be honest this move makes little practical difference to our ongoing conflict.
Many of the Minmatar were already based in Molden Heath on the edge of Great Wildlands anyway.
I am pretty sure that this granting of access will not result in the terrorists suddenly leaving central Minmatar systems, in the same way that the CVA maintains a strong presence in an around Amarr despite our activities in Providence.
It is sad that the Keiretsu Alliance has seen fit to grant these terrorists and murderers access to their territory. Keiretsu will rue the consequences of their choice when the day of judgement finally arrives and the reclaiming begins.
I am interested to see whether Keiretsu will grant Ushra'Khan the permission to build their own stations in Keiretsu space...

Some sanity among all the madness. A very enlightened move from the part of Keiretsu, I hope it results in good for all involved.
Obviously, Gradient applauds this move; anyone assisting in Matari anti-slavery is a friend of ours, as a general rule. Our people will be talking with your people, and all that.

It gladens my heart that in the chaos of eternity, we can come together for a common purpose. The Thukker have granted us aid with our freed people and now Kieretsu, Foundation and Ushra'Khan have come to an agreement which will allow us bring our people we free to the safety of a new life and a new home with the Thukker.

You forget, we never claim to defend the Republic like you claim to defend the empire. We are not defenders, we are freedom fighters, there is a big difference there and aside from your 'parades' into Hiematar we have free and unequivaqual access to the Parud and Domain regions now to carry out our raids at will only ever meeting with light resistance along the way. I believe you have your hands full in Providence, perhaps you should concentrate your propaganda efforts in that direction instead?

This is an interesting development. I have to say that I like the sound of The Keiretsu - you seem to be refreshingly enlightened, especially as a group with its origins in the much maligned Curse Alliance.
Much is written about the struggles with the morally bankrupt Amarr, but less is said about the more immediate threat to the stability of the Republic in the shape of the Angel Cartel. Any move that opens up access to some of the higher ranking officials in that organisation is most welcome.

Hakera, my post was reasonably conciliatory and apart from one sentence limited to the subject of this GalNet discussion - the admittance of Ushra'Khan into the Great Wildlands.
However, as you have decided to take it onto another topic I will respond.
I posted that footage merely for information and amusement purposes. If you could point out exactly where the gloating took place in either the 'footage' or my original post, I would be surprised.
Clearly you have an overly defensive and paranoid mindset Minmatar if you see such things as 'gloating'.
With regards having our hands full in Providence this sounds a little like some kind of 'wish fulfillment' thinking on your part.
Firstly, very little is actually happening in Providence. Legi0n are based in Kheram (about 5 jumps from Amarr) while 'The Corporation', the mercenaries hired to attack us are based in Penirgman (2 jumps from Amarr).
Legi0n Corporation have lost around 10 to 15 pilots from their roster since the war started. I am sure their core will not stop fighting but they will soon be nothing more than a nuisance. I dont believe we have lost more than a handful of ships (mostly minor) to them since the declaration. You should not be fooled into thinking they pose any real distraction from CVA activities simply because they are vocal on GalNet.
The Corporation have been more effective. I believe they have now downed a total of four CVA battleships since the war began. However, they are on a time based contract - for some reason I doubt they will be around for too long.
The CVA has always faced adversity. We have always been outnumbered by our enemies, right back to the very start when First Praetorian Guard and PIE battled Oracle.
Yes you terrorists can sneak into Amarr space. You always could. I dont know what you are trying to say here Hakera? You and I both know that we cannot defend all our space just as you cannot protect all your pilots from justice when we patrol Minmatar space for terrorists.
We, like you, do all that we can limited only by our resources.

I for one will do my best to make sure everything works out, nothing can be allowed to mar this great step forward we have taken together with our friends in the Keiretsu.
I can only pray the region will stabilize and become more peaceful soon.

As a free born Matari it was and has always been of great importance to me to see an end to slavery.
We of the Keiretsu welcome the UshraÆKhan within the limitations agreed upon.
It is a great day for all of the matari, we will respect the commitment made here and hope that others realise that access is limited to members of the UshraÆKhan.

This is excellent news , and welcome news as well. Support is always welcome and especially to us , a group that enjoys many derogatory titles from Empire and Republic both.
I would like to see the great wildlands, and I would like to test myself on the toughest pirate cartel of them all, the Archangels. I am a mere soldier in the fight , and will take my leaders .. um lead, but the support , the access and the cooperation of kin from the great wildlands has warmed my heart.
I wont break any code of conduct we agree to , and I wont overstay my welcome. There is much to do regarding the CVA as well, and I have still to figure out the trick that make a Vigil last more then a few heartbeats in an engagement

Oh? That's not what the announcement says, in it you claim access can be negotiated for companies who actively help the Minmatar cause (anti-slavery efforts, etc), and that Ushra would act as in-between in the matter. It did *not* say that the corporations had to actually belong to Ushra. There are some of us out here who have worked for years in anti-slavery and pro-Minmatar causes to very good effect, but do not belong to Ushra because of differing views on internal Minmatar politics (though we agree with Ushra on many major issues like slavery).
So what is it, was the announcement correct or not? If it was, we can (and would like to) talk.

Alex Harumichi, the announcement was correct. GW will be open to all recognised Minmatar freedom fighter corps. However, to ease the administration workload on Keiretsu, the Ushra'Khan play the role of recommending such corporations to The Keiretsu.
Once forwarded by Ushra'Khan, your corp will agree to abide by some simple guidelines before entry to GW and positive standings to Keiretsu are set (very important in 0.0 apsce)
I hope all is now clear. |

Velios, thank you, that is how I understood the original announcement and I'm glad to hear that's actually the case. I'm personally quite hopeful about all this; as a Gallente working in a strongly pro-Minmatar corporation I'm sometimes frustrated by the amount of energy that goes into internal squabbling among the Minmatar tribes (no offense intended to anyone). We can all get *so* much more done if we focus on the major things we agree on and agree to disagree on the exact political issues.
