At the moment - how does the community feel about the statement:
"The best way to kill things in small numbers is to war dec corps in empire"

You mean "The best way to kill things in small numbers(with neutral repping or on undock) is to war dec (inudustrial, pve or newb)corps in empire" |

No exclude the neutral repping or whether they are industrial, pve or newb corps - i am on about having good fights (solo, small gang) without the 50 man over kill gangs.

lol another one ****ed off they got war decked because they dont have a pvp corp aligned with them. first point of order when in a industrial corp, always have an alt that can pvp or have an alliance with a pvp corp. or better yet, if you are all miners keep yo butt in a npc corp

Wrong. You will be swimming in so much decs afterwards. First point of order is to have alt corps to move your members, or to have alt alliances to save your pos.

yeah thats right ***** out and go to another corp to avoid the deck. the whole point of having the pvp corp aligned with them would be to give the pvp corp an incentive, say discounted ships, or modules. to punk out of a corp to avoid a war deck, just ****es people off and draws the war deck over. ive seen it happen more then a few times

Lulz, you should clearly just give in and give them the barge kms they want. That'll work.

No. It's either blob or griefing carebears and noobs, who won't/can't fight back. Say thanks to kms.

Yeah you don't know ****.
Missminer,
Simple, grab your brosefs, fit frigates on the first go, pick spot and go. After you get used to the idea, which will fairly quick, you then can move up to whatever you feel comfortable with.
It is not all blob, there are plenty of 2 to 6 mam gangs running around killing all kinds of ****.

It's possible to get decent 10 vs 10 fights from HS wars but it maybe difficult to find target that actually wants to fight back and is close to your own level. 90% of corps that claim to pvp in corp descriptions are fail.
some tips: 1) check killboard and make sure they run 10+ men fleets (to match your gang size) 2) When you find corp that does pvp see where they mostly hang around 3) Optional step. If you don't want to go to low sec make sure their PVPers have standings to enter highsec and put some locators to see if they are normally in HS and only roam in lowsec for pew pew 4) Move some ships to areas where you think it's most likely to get fights 5) If you actually want fights avoid camping solo guys with 10 men gang at station undock. It's extremely hard to shoot trough station and target is ****** if he undocks anything worth shooting with those odds. So only thing you do is bore yourself to death. If you like staring stations apply to orphanage 6) If enemy forms a fleet do some scouting and move your own fleet to have some pew pew 7) If target is too fail hunt their carebears and look for new target in the mean time. Repeat steps 1-6
As a side note. People who think HS wardecs are only station camps have no idea what they are talking about and/or have no skills to do anything but station games or kill industrials in lowsec
Anyways biggest problem is the amount of fail/noob corporations/alliances in highsec. It may take quite a few decs and lots of time to find something worth shooting. Is it better than blob or be blobbed warfare is up to you to decide. Some like staring jita undock, some like shooting industrials/miners in low sec, some blobbing stupid pirates failing to obvious traps, some blackscreening in 0.0 blobs with 2k ppl in local... |

Fix'd. Seriously people, empire and 0.0 are not the only areas of the game.

Plenty of other options for small scale fights.
- Raid class 2 or 3 wormholes to kill the people in them - Black Ops raids (classic arazu bait trick) skill intensive, but effective - Hunt pirate corps in lowsec - Roam nullsec during non-primetime - Be the next lame duck who sits outside Jita 4-4 and claim you're PVPing

I don't know where you live, but over the last few years where I live it has become more and more rare to find any 3-10 man gangs. The only thing to do is to gank solo players or run from blobs. I usually move along when it becomes this blobby. Most FW members won't undock unless they are in a blob so big it is unlikely they will even get targeted, which makes it so everyone else in the area must match that behavior to fight them.
Killboards have changed over the years to discourage blobs as much as they realistically can, but it just isn't enough.
WH space would be cool if there were mini empires & stations within it, but currently 99/100 of WH systems don't have active people in them. WH space is for "hardcore industrialists".
Black Ops for a solution, your choice of ship is not going to dictate how someone formed their fleet up. Also, us scrubby pirates can blob too. There never seems to be an off time for blobs, its all or nothing for most people. They just don't undock if they are in a fleet so small they might get targeted.

No, for small gang stuff I'd suggest lowsec and NPC 0.0
Highsec is either farming people who don't really get what the wardec entails for them, or really lame station games packed with neutral reps and Orcas.
...Then when you stopped to think about it. All you really said was Lalala. |
