I think that's the point.
CCP doesn't care about updating their own guides when they change the rules. |

Obviously you didn't read what the OP linked in which CCP states that PLEXes can not be moved
We know they can be moved, but apparently CCP does not know that

They've kept the old KB articles for posterity's sake, but they're almost only updating the wiki nowadays. Would you prefer for all KB articles to be taken offline ? _

Well, ideally, any searches on the EVE website, or in the game's help window wouldn't redirect to the KB. KB's ancient and dead and we shouldn't be sent there as a first resort. KB makes every built-in search function pointless. I'm actually kinda surprised the wiki's search doesn't send you directly to the KB. :P I kinda wouldn't mind the KB being taken completely offline since it's the absolute worst source of information (right below asking 4chan.)

The only reason to move plexes in game if you were trying to make in game profits.
The location of a plex is 100% irrelevant for anyone who wanted to actually use it for game time themselves and even if you wanted to sell them and found you made a mistake in where you activated them, the mistake can be fixed by taking effort to correct your mistake posting it on the sale forums here and paying penance with a slight discount and the effort of explaining that if they buy it from you on contract that they'll be able to use it right away.
It really amazes me how many people have no clue that if they want to add game time to an account, having a plex in a hostile station that you can't dock in 25 jumps into 0.0 is everybit as easy to use as one in the hangar with you. (i've made good isk on this cluelessness btw)
