(My first attempt at any kind of news report) Late last night Nerdherd withdrew from The Jagged Alliance following disagreements with the Alliance CEO Pathetiq. They are the fourth corporation to leave the alliance in just 8 days.
Shade, Aeternix and Zombicidal Mania left on 12th March, discussions had started internally and privately about leaving, as they werenĘt happy under the leadership, but Pathetiq somehow got word of this and laid down an ultimatum, telling them they had one hour to decide whether to stay or go. Given the ultimatum, the decision was made rapidly and was punctuated by the three corps tackling and killing an alliance Chimera.
Conversations ensued with Pathetiq and Abinadi9, (Alliance Diplomat and CEO of NerdHerd) about the situation and how to move forward, during which Pathetiq showed his true colours, claiming all achievements of the alliance were purely down to him, and how he had to spend most of his time clearing up messes caused by his appointed officers. He also rejected any and all suggestions put forward to allow any form of creative input from other members within the alliance.
Disgusted by the attitude displayed, and the belittling of the work put in by various other members of the alliance, himself included. Abinadi9 contacted the core members of his corporation and polled them on whether they wished to stay or leave the alliance. The decision was unanimously to leave and seek greener pastures.
As of midnight eve time on 19th March, 256 members of the once 778 member alliance (32.9%) have left, with numerous others in discussion with various external corps and alliances exploring their options.
A mail went out to the alliance today suggesting all members move their assets out to low-sec, leaving only PVP ships behind, in a mass exodus from the 5Y1E-3 constellation they claimed sovereignty of over Christmas. Mutterings are that they plan to ask Red Alliance or White Noise to occupy the space for them to provide protection and solidarity as they look at what to do next, but one thing is for sure, the alliance which many have accused of being Russian pets have suddenly found themselves in a considerably weaker state and may have to start accepting the title which they have riled so hard against.
Reduced to only two supercaps, with so many of their cap-capable pilots gone or retreating to low-sec, 5Y1E-3 looks like a ripe fruit waiting to be picked by the enemy.

When Shade accepted the invitation to join TJA, we did so expecting fights and lolz. We did not expect a ******ed dictator with delusions of grandeur. All attempts from our side to improve TJA, so that it would be able to withstand the tests of holding sov in 0.0 space were harshly rebuked, and all attempts at dialog were ignored.
When little Gaddfi gave us the ultimatum, the membership of Shade had already decided to wage war on the upstart dictator along with ZLMA. Penumbra Alliance have since March 12th been running 23/7 area denial operations in the TJA cluster of space in Wicked Creek, with a predicatable outcome.
As of this post, all but two corporation still in TJA, have requested and been granted, blue standings with Penumbra to allow them to evacuate the cluster. Our insurrection was never about punishing the members of the alliance, but to root out the insane man desperatly clinging on to power.

Haters gonna hate I guess. Well I will put in my two cents. Yes things were not always rosy. However in Jagged my corporation grew and prospered until such time as it ran it's course. I have no ill will against anyone there. Nor is this epeen waving particularly tasteful.
Unfortunately ideological differences caused some to leave which is fair. However some decided to break it "because we can".
I don't really know what to say.
Good luck to all my friends from that alliance.
Hope to roll together soon enough with some of ya.

Corcoran State, now recruiting. We are severely lacking good PVE'rs and would like to have a few more people in our sov systems to keep the upgrades running.

Will miss jagged. If it was allowed I could post no end of killmail reports where they leeroyed 20-30 man gangs into our scouts and bait drakes only to have the rest of our gang cheer when they took the bait at the scores of kill-mails about to come.

The Jagged Alliance loyal ATLAS pets turned loyal Russian pets. Always put up a C-J defense fleet even when ATLAS wouldnt then put up a 0-W defense fleets when ATLAS wouldnt, finally switched to Russian pets when it was apparent that ATLAS was fail.
Was promised space by White Noise in Detorid that belonged to hold over ATLAS pets Intergalactic Exports Group. Came to IEG space to declare an ultimatum, IEG alliance must fold and merge into TJA or be killed by White Noise. IEG horridly blobs the dozen or so pilots TJA sent to assert their superiority after which PathetiQ boasts about their Russian backing and fact that IEG's fall was inevitable because of it.
Separately, PathetiQ contacts individual corps in IEG to get them to switch to a "better" alliance because IEG was going to failcascade under Russian assault, none switch. IEG puts up mixed resistance to Russian incursions (bombers fail against supers , batphones -A- sub cap fleet to drop on Russian supers which promptly retreated when the first few -A- pilots entered system).
A week passes and IEG agrees to become WN pets, WN orders TJA to move to scalding pass (or some other sh*t place) instead. TJA had to blue IEG (lol) tense relationship ever since. TJA keeps getting smaller and smaller while IEG semi-mimics HTA and got bigger and bigger by absorbing White Angel corps in the Detorid area before finally capping recruitment, but not before becoming a favorite farming ground for -A-, NCdot and others.
Maybe TJA should have joined IEG so they could stay loyal pets.
Signed, Amused ex-IEG pilot
