Questions?: Why does my Corporation Composition List show only 8 members while we have 10 members in the corp? Is it because (maybe) two of the members are no longer active (meaning they no longer have an eve account)? I have no way to confirm this. Or is there a way to confirm if any inactive players still have an active Eve account? Thank you in advance for any help concerning these questions. G!

Have you recently added new members, as in only a few minutes before you looked? Many of the member lists and such are located on the cache and are updated only so often, meaning the lists are not always accurate if changes have been made recently. _____ When going to a party with wine, women, and song. No. We haven't added any new members for at least a month now. It just recently reset. We had a 5 standings with caldari with 9 members showing up in the composition list just last week. No changes with members standings. Then we checked the standings right after downtime and noticed we had a drop below 5 (4.72) with 8 members showing up in composition list. We understand the fomula of standings towards corp verus faction standings in relation to individuals standings and all that jazz. We just don't understand why we lost two members in the composition list when all members are still listed as members of the corp. We believe it may be related to active/inactive Eve Account. We do have a couple of people who have alt's in the corp but arent active here but else where, but they are in the composition list. So we are still at a lost why we are missing these two members in the composition list. Hopefully, this added information will be of help. G! and thanks for the responce.

The composition list only shows corp members who's numbers are averaged in to the corp's standings. Corp members who have been in the corp less than 7 downtimes or who have no standings entries will not show up on that list. Alts who have not done the tutorials will have no standings history and will not have an effect on corp averages. I don't know specifically what tidbit of information you are missing, but you can double check the compositions list to see who's dropping your average. You may get a calculator and see if the average is being done accurately, but there aren't very many circumstances where it wouldn't be.

The number went from 9 Corp members listed to 8. The person that is no longer listed is still in the corp but has not been online in a few days. At first we thought this was due to inactivity however another person is still on the composition list but has been inactive far longer.

"Corp members who have been in the corp less than 7 downtimes or who have no standings entries will not show up on that list."
All corp members have been in corp for at least one month. All corp members have a faction standing and/or corp standings with some npc corp or racial faction regional standing. The two members that aren't showing up in my 'composition list' are long standings members. One as recently (within a week)been inactive for rl reasons, but plans to be back/active soon. He as a +7 standings with caldari standings. He was removed from the composition list just in the last few days. That is part of the orginal question (in regards to why he was removed from the list in the first place). He's been with the corp and active since the corp was formed and just recently became inactive as far as signing on to eve. We'll talking like a week. Hopefully, more information is helping. G! and again thanks for the response....

Sounds like something I'd petition. Only a GM would have the access to the back end to see what's going on, and hopefully fix it if he can. My experience is that GMs suck at fixing that kind of thing and just tell you to bug report it (where it will probably be ignored unless thousands of people are also reporting it.) I'm pretty cynical about what GMs will and will not fix, and how they handle things that take any effort. But it's still a roll of the dice, maybe a GM actually can help you.

You can't post GM discussions on the forums, even friendly ones. Just petition, and good luck.

Merouk Baas......Thanks man....i was aware of that....but i ment that i would paraphase. :)
Anyway, i did finally figure out what did happen to my composition list. It's because one or both members have cancelled their eve account. Which is why it had an effect on my corp standings. But i want to thank everyone for there help with this issues. I wish you all well. G!
