Why doesnt the BOUNTY show on the character sheet?
Seems a good place for it to be no?

It doesn't show you the bounty because CCP didn't program it to.

The BOUNTY doesn't show on your character sheet because it sank, like, last Thursday. Something about a mutiny/fire, idk. vOv

Actually Miilla is right, it doesnt make sense that you have to click show info on your own ship and then click on your character portrait to see your own bounty. It is displayed on the character selection screen, can't be hard to display it on the character sheet as well.
Even sounds like one of these low-hanging-fruit stuffs I heard so much about.

Speaking as a character who has been the 3rd most wanted player in Eve, and the #1 most wanted actually playing, the existing "bounty" system is a lame joke.
Those huge bounties? They were put on folks by themselves, or by their friends.
In my case, I was flying with old school BNC, and one night as part of mass drunken joke, I ended up with the biggest active bounty in game. I take pride that my bounty was all from very drunk hardcore pvpers (I think that was one of several nights that Blacklight passed out drunk in his battleship in 0.0, and this was back when battleships were like capitals....)
For weeks I had aspiring new pirates contacting me asking me for advive on pirating.....
Eventually I just collected it myself. I warned my corpies I'd do that eventually, so all was well. Still, it really drove home just how utterly flawed the existing bounty system is.
Play nice while you butcher each other.
