I'm a bit confused at the mechanics of renting an office.
Last month I rented an office for about 200,000 ISK. I assumed this would be taken out monthly from my wallet. It was taken out once when I initially rented the office but it wasn't taken out again. I'm not sure if I still have the office and I didn't receive any notification for payment or payment made. I know it's a 30 day period but now it's about 10 days over.
My guess is that my corp wallet is suppose to get charged and I think I may not have enough in there (can't check right now). IF that was the case, why didn't I get a notification of some type indicating insufficient funds or something?
Is an office rental fee something that just gets charged monthly automatically (assuming your corp wallet has funds) or is there something that I needed to do near the 30 day period? Do the fees stay the same or do they change based on number of tenants?
Thanks

I remember that it wasn't in there, I looked.
When and how do you specify to pay it? I can live with this, just need to know how.

IIRC if you rent an office you will get 30days and a bill - if you pay the bill right away you'll get sixty days., if it is in the auto-paid section then the master wallet will pay it when it is due - otherwise it will expire.

Maybe this is why I haven't gotten a notice yet. I started the rental on Feb 15th, so it would expire around April 15th.
I think that you HAVE to pay the bill right away (there's a yes/no option for you to agree to the rental terms). Picking yes deducts your wallet (I see the amount they charged).

you do get a while to pay it, I thik 30 days in which to pay and the bill will just sit there for them 30 days it also does eve mail you to say its due (if your ceo/director.
you can see if you still have it rented on
coperation screen >> assets >> offices
if its listed there you still have it rented.

Just be careful with auto-pay, the price of the office could jump by millions before the next bill is due. It all depends on how many offices are rented in that station and probably some other factors. - - [SERVICE] Corp Standings For POS anchoring

<2 offices free it increases 5% / downtime - no limit >2 offices free it decreases 5% / downtime - to minimum of 10k IIRC

also if you don't pay in time all your gear in the corp hangars will get confiscated until you do. Not a problem if you intended to pay and have the funds though. Auto pay also may take the rental fee a few days early (not on last day of month) so be aware.

Alot of good information here, for something that didn't seem too complicated.
Thanks

The 5% increases and decreases don't appear to be THAT drastic. The question I have is why do some NPC corps charge up to 40 or 50 million ISK/month and others charge 200,000? I'm not sure if the difference is due to vacancy rates (doesn't appear likely with just 5% increases) or if it's something else.

5% every day can soon mount up by the time it reaches 50 mil that would be 5 mil isk extra d ay and it goe sup expotentially.
