Edited by: GFLTorque on 04/02/2005 02:29:56 Sadly, Rampage CEO of Storm Guard Elite has died as reported here in the forum.
A link to the local newspaper's article follows:
Rampage Killed by Drunk Driver
Rampage was one of the original Stain Alliance CEO's. There are not many still playing the game, but I certain Trigger would express his condolences if he were here (I understand hes not available atm). As Duke, Thirdstorm, Platinum X, Empress, Trigger, Greyhound, Civil and myself can attest: Rampage was a person you couldnt help but like. He was level headed and a great person. Often when squabbles about Stain arose, Rampage was one of the fewer level headed CEO's.
Offering a voice of reason, when the rest of us werent so reasonable.
In RL I assume he was the same.
Our Prayers are with the family you leave behind, and the friends that will miss you.

That absolutely, positively chaffs my hide. They should throw the book at the bastard for this.
Words just can't cover it.

this is a sad day indeed. Rampage was a great foe. Eve won't be the same without him.

the members of Storm Guard Elite would like to extend their thanks to all those who have sent condolences to his family and friends.....this corp was his baby and he will be missed greatly.....it is very unfortunate that such a well liked and much loved person had to have his life ended this way. i have met him in r/l and was looking forward to hanging out with him again sometime.......i greatly enjoyed talking with him and his laugh and sense of humor, but also his ability to be level headed and be stern when need be.........my deepest sympathies go to his wife and daughter and hope that in time the wounds will heal.
out of this tragic occurence Storm Guard Elite will continue to prosper and be the corporation that he would have wanted it to be.

Rampage was one of the most stand-up individuals I have met in an online game. He was a pleasure to speak with, plan with, and just generally chat with.
He earned my respect early on in Eve, making the game far more enjoyable for both my self, my wife, and for all of Old Farts.
Rampage, you will be missed.
