Is the fanfest stream slow for anyone else? I know its apparently very poor quality but it loads 2 seconds worth every 5 seconds or more. It is unwatchable. Im not capped either so I dont know... Is my net just messed or is anyone else having this issue?

Seems ok to me. Quality is crap, but sure it's like that by design of cost to provide the service, and also to make you want to buy the HD stream! Which, I would shell out for, but my bandwidth cap would go bye bye...

Eh, SD/HD is the least of my worries till i can get this bandwidth problem fixed.

If you try and stop/restart the screen you will need to use one of the stream links in account management to start it again.

I restarded it as you were telling me and it did not work.
But now after some more tries it finaly worked. (like if it was something with the bandwith)

I too have this very issue. 3-5 seconds then buffering.... and then time warping etc...

can barely make a connection with the free service (spends more time buffering than playing), won't make a connection at all with any HD streams I payed for. Absolutely horrible :(

Where are you located? (region / country)
What kind of internet connection do you have?
What are the symptoms when you say it "won't make a connection" with the HD streams. do you get choppy video? just the spinning circle waiting for the video to start?

ADSL2 line, no listed speed (supposedly 8Mbps)
giving me the spinning loading bar of death waiting for the video to start
nice to see blue bars btw :)
/edit also free stream lasts for about 3 seconds but takes about 6 seconds to buffer in the first place

If someone gets the spinning circle, just refresh (klick on the link in account management) often, after 5-10 times it works.

After having refreshed literally around 40 times, I am able to access the HD stream!
However, this 2000kbps stream is horrible, this is NOT HD...
Oh and, what's the point of watching the developer talking about a screen we can't see?

seems ok to me although I only using the free streama nd quality is not great but bettert han I expected for soemthing free, still if I was able to watch this all today.tomorrow I;d definatly get hd stream.

Sameà kind of.
It works under 10.5.8, in both SD and HD. Under 10.6.7 ù on the computer I want to watch it ù I get the same problem as Moo: SD works fine, but HD only gets audio, and a grey gradient where the video should be.

Yes OSX 10.6.6 on All 3 browsers and all 3 speeds but not SD stream

SD stream works. HD stream worked for about a minute and now its back to audio only or nothing at all. And I am using MAC (too bad if you dont like them). HD worked only using Chrome. Safari and FF couldn't play it.
TBH, since I bought the HD stream if its not working I want to be refunded the PLEX I paid for it. |

We have been unable to reproduce the issue so far, but for the record we have been getting the HD stream working just fine on multiple macs in our office.
We tested on:
OSX 10.6.6
Flash 10.1.102.64 Safari, Firefox worked fine
Flash 10.2.154.25 Chrome (built in to Chrome) worked fine
For those having problems - what flash/osx versions are you on?
