Creepy, how? I didn't find the original poster's comment creepy. It takes guts to take on hosting duties in front of a large audience. Even more on the internet. And even more if you're a female.
Being critical would definitely be uncalled for unnecessary, but there's no harm in the community complimenting those who put a lot of themselves out there for our entertainment in possibly uncomfortable roles on how nice they looked on camera or how well they came across or how entertaining they were.
Hell, I'm a dude and I thought Bjors(sp) is a good looking bad ass. I thought Soundwave did an awesome job. I thought Stevie was terrific (I've seen plenty of professional presenters and hosts who couldn't have held it all together as well as she did).
Also, unrelated topic, you know what I hate? I hate when people make a big deal about being a girl and then complain about people making a big deal that they're a girl. We had a chick who did that on our Counter-Strike server about ten years ago. (And the morons who suddenly cease playing and focus on the fact that there's a person with a different set of genitals and chromosomes in the room because if they say just the right thing, she's going to drop everything and run over to their house or office and blow them are another story, entirely).
Anyway, it seems like CCP's productions are not only improving every year, but the experiences are making them more comfortable filling the roles they're assigned during fanfest. They should all be proud of themselves!
